Employee Experience Specialist

Build What Matters at Model N

At Model N, we help life sciences companies solve complex revenue challenges, operate more efficiently, and bring important innovations to market faster. We’re looking for people who enjoy practical problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, and seeing the impact of their work.

If you are energized by bringing people together, running events that feel genuine, and helping teams experience our culture firsthand, this could be a great fit.

About the Role

We are looking for an Employee Experience Specialist to join our People team. In this role, you will help execute culture initiatives and programs—leading the charge for our India office while supporting global culture work across the organization. You'll plan and run office events, support our India executive team with town halls, create content, and help employees stay connected to our culture.

This role matters because culture happens in moments—when people gather, when they see recognition, when they hear a clear story about why we exist. We need someone who can coordinate those moments, make sure they happen well, be resourceful and creative, and help people feel connected to what we're building.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and run India office engagement events that bring teams together and reinforce our culture.
• Support the India executive team with town hall planning and execution—gathering content, creating  materials, ensuring alignment with company priorities and managing timelines.
• Partner with the People team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure important information and updates reach employees in a timely, clear, and engaging way.
• Support the execution of culture initiatives and programs across the organization (onboarding experiences, recognition programs, town halls, etc.).
• Create and edit employee videos (recordings, culture stories, town hall content, etc.) for distribution across channels.
• Identify and flag opportunities to improve how we communicate or practice our values.

What Success Looks Like

In the first 90 days, you will:

• Build an understanding of Model N’s culture, values and current programs.
• Establish strong working relationships with the People team and stakeholders in Hyderabad.
• Take the lead on planning and executing at least one India office event or engagement activity.
• Learn the tools, processes, and channels we use for communication.
• Support the execution of at least one ongoing culture initiative or program.

Over the first 6-12 months, you will:

• Successfully plan and run multiple India office events.
• Be the go-to person for coordinating culture projects globally and keeping things on track.
• Develop strong communication and video creation skills—producing content that sounds like us and looks polished.
• Consistently deliver polished, on-brand work with minimal edits.
• Demonstrate resourcefulness and creativity—figuring out solutions when the path isn't obvious.
• Show good judgment about what needs escalation vs. what you can solve independently.

How You Will Grow and Make an Impact

At Model N, our competency model helps us talk about growth, impact, and how work gets done.

• People Leadership: Build positive working relationships across teams. Seek and apply feedback to strengthen your work and collaboration.
• Problem-Solving: Resolve day-to-day challenges independently and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Thought Leadership: Contribute informed ideas for authentic employee communication and engagement. Identify themes in feedback and recommend improvements.
• Initiative: Find creative, resourceful solutions and take ownership of work quality and continuous improvement.
• Operational Excellence: Manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders. Stay organized, follow through, and deliver high-quality work on time.
• AI Enablement: Use AI tools appropriately to improve efficiency and work quality.

We do not expect every person to be perfect in every area. We look for strong fundamentals, curiosity, ownership, and the ability to keep growing.

Job Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in HR, Employee Engagement/Experience, Event Planning, or related field.
• Experience executing employee programs, events, or internal campaigns in cross-functional environments; ability to manage coordination and keep stakeholders aligned.
• Experience creating and editing basic videos – doesn't need to be broadcast quality but should be comfortable with video editing tools and thinking about video as a communication channel.
• Ability to write and communicate clearly; comfort learning to adapt your approach for different audiences.
• Comfort working with senior leaders and executives; ability to be responsive, professional, and help leaders plan and prepare.
• Demonstrated experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini) to improve productivity, decision-making, or problem solving in a professional or personal context.

How We Work

Our DARE core values - DREAM, ALIGN, RESPECT, and EXCEL - shape how we work together.

• We work across functions and value clear, respectful communication.

• We recognize good work and support growth over time.
