About Kaseya
Kaseya is the leading provider of AI-powered IT management and cybersecurity software, serving Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and internal IT organizations worldwide. Our comprehensive platform helps organizations efficiently manage, secure, and automate their IT environments, driving operational efficiency and long-term business success.
Backed by Insight Partners, a leading global software investor, Kaseya has experienced sustained double-digit growth and continues to expand its global footprint. Today, Kaseya supports customers in more than 20 countries and manages over 15 million endpoints worldwide.
Founded in 2000, Kaseya was built by builders - and we're still building. We look for people who create rather than wait, who see a hard problem and lean in, and who treat challenges as raw material. At Kaseya, everyone plays a role in shaping the future of IT: whether you're in engineering, product, sales, marketing, customer support, or operations, your work helps protect, defend, and optimize IT environments across the globe.
We're building teams that grow, perform, and make an impact. If you're driven by the itch to make things better - a product, a process, a career - you'll fit right in.
At Kaseya, we don't just raise the bar. We build it.
Join a fast-growing company transforming the IT management and cybersecurity industry. At Kaseya, we are modernizing how software is designed, built, tested, and operated by combining engineering fundamentals with AI-native development practices.
As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will help shape both our endpoint architecture and how engineering teams use AI-assisted development to improve software quality, release confidence, and delivery speed.
Join the Kaseya growth rocket ship and see how we are #ChangingLives!
We’re hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and quality engineering of Kaseya’s endpoint management agents across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms. This is not a traditional QA automation role. You will write production software, own critical agent capabilities, and build the automated frameworks that validate them at system level. You will influence architecture and engineering standards across teams while remaining hands-on in implementation, debugging, release readiness, and production support.
Define architecture and technical direction for endpoint agent capabilities, testability, and system-level validation across supported platforms
Design, build, and operate production agent features using C# and .NET, including monitoring, automation, patching, inventory collection, remote actions, scripting, and device management
Own critical endpoint capabilities from technical design and implementation through automated validation, deployment, monitoring, and production support
Design reusable automation frameworks, test infrastructure, and validation tooling for Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile environments
Build automated coverage for installation, upgrades, rollback, policy execution, disconnected operation, recovery, performance, security, and operating system compatibility
Improve agent reliability through testability, diagnostics, telemetry, observability, performance analysis, and automated failure detection
Lead investigations into complex customer and production issues, complete root-cause analysis, and implement preventative engineering solutions
Lead design and code reviews, mentor Senior and Staff Engineers, and establish effective practices for AI-assisted development and testing
10+ years of software engineering experience building production system software, endpoint applications, platform services, or related products
6+ years of experience developing and operating production applications or services using C# and .NET
Experience developing software that integrates with Windows capabilities such as Win32 APIs, Windows Services, WMI, Registry operations, process and thread management, or operating system security models
Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines for functional, integration, regression, resiliency, or system-level validation
Experience leading the architecture and delivery of technical initiatives involving multiple engineers or teams, with ownership through deployment and production support
Experience building RMM, UEM, EDR, XDR, endpoint security, or device management products
Experience developing cross-platform agents or systems software across Windows, macOS, Linux, or mobile platforms
Experience developing production software using C, C++, Rust, Go, or similar systems programming languages
Experience with Microsoft Intune, Apple MDM, Android Enterprise, or Linux device management platforms
Experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, AppleScript, virtualization, or automated device provisioning environments
Experience using AI-assisted development tools for codebase exploration, implementation, test generation, debugging, refactoring, documentation, or coverage analysis
