The Engineering Manager – Firmware Engineering will lead a team delivering firmware across sustaining engineering, product enhancements, production support, qualification, and new product development.
This hands-on leader will own technical execution, delivery, quality, and team development for an assigned portfolio while increasing team accountability from individual tasks toward complete deliverables and workstreams.
Key Result Areas
Delivery: On-time delivery, commitment reliability, backlog health, and responsiveness.
Quality: Defect leakage, repeat defects, verification effectiveness, and corrective-action closure.
Productivity and Automation: Development cycle time, automated test coverage, CI/CD maturity, and measurable benefits from automation and approved AI tools.
Talent and Ownership: Skill growth, time to productivity, retention, technical-lead development, and progression toward deliverable and workstream ownership.
