About the company
At Nuitée, we are building the API backbone for the global travel industry. Founded in 2017, Nuitée is on a mission to transform a fragmented travel ecosystem with simple, scalable, and API-first infrastructure—think “Stripe for Travel.”
By enabling seamless connectivity between hotels, OTAs, fintechs, super-apps, and businesses, some of which are entering the travel market for the first time, Nuitée empowers companies to deliver reliable travel products effortlessly. Our robust platform simplifies complex supplier networks, offering direct access to hotel inventory with better pricing, coverage, and technology.
With teams across the globe, including hubs in London, New York, San Francisco, Palma de Mallorca and Casablanca, Nuitée has grown into a global infrastructure provider trusted by industry leaders like Hopper, Priceline, Google, and Uber.
Now backed by leading VCs and world-class investors including leaders from Booking.com, Stripe, and Shopify, Nuitée is positioned to redefine the B2B travel market, streamline operations for hotels, and enable new applications through cutting-edge APIs.
Nuitée is at the forefront of a revolution—delivering AI-powered, smarter, and more personalized travel experiences for a new era.
Remote in Europe, or hybrid in Barcelona, Dublin, London, or Palma.
Imagine making a technical decision today and seeing its impact on revenue in days.
You'll lead engineering for Pricing & Revenue, a core part of Nuitée's hotel booking infrastructure. This is where supplier connectivity, distribution, pricing, and monetisation come together, with engineering decisions directly affecting performance, competitiveness, and margin.
You'll own the technical direction, architecture, reliability, and delivery of the domain. You'll lead and grow a small engineering team, work closely with Product and Trading, and have the autonomy to decide how to solve problems without approval layers.
The technical challenge is central. A single hotel search can trigger synchronous queries across around 200 suppliers. We're now building more sophisticated trading capabilities, including a proper pricing engine and automated rebooking, to make better decisions about supply, pricing, and distribution at scale.
Build something important from scratch. We're developing a proper pricing engine and new trading capabilities on top of an established, revenue-generating platform.
Real technical ownership. You'll make architectural decisions, shape how the domain evolves, and see the commercial impact of your engineering choices.
You stay close to engineering. You'll lead, mentor, and hire engineers while remaining deeply involved in the systems, code, and technical decisions.
You can move fast. Small teams, little red tape, and the freedom to make decisions. You can identify a problem, make a change, and see its impact quickly.
Nuitée has grown 10x since 2022, was profitable before raising a $48M Series A led by Accel, and works with companies such as Revolut, Grab, Hopper, Priceline, and Sabre. This role comes with meaningful equity, so when we hit our next growth milestones, you get real upside in the company you’re helping build.
How do we build a pricing engine that balances supply, demand, competitiveness, and margin across a complex hotel marketplace?
How do we return competitive rates quickly when each hotel search can involve around 200 supplier connections, with different response times and reliability?
How do we improve hotel search availability, currently around 42%, while ensuring customers can actually fulfil their bookings?
How do we automate rebooking, first for our internal operations and eventually as a product our customers can use?
Have led, mentored, and grown engineering teams while staying hands-on with architecture, code, and production problems.
Have built or improved marketplace, trading, or optimisation systems, with experience across both supply and demand.
Understand how pricing, inventory, distribution, and fulfilment interact in a marketplace.
Have strong Go experience and deep backend engineering expertise, including distributed systems, high-volume APIs, latency, concurrency, and reliability.
Can translate complex commercial problems into engineering decisions and build systems that deliver measurable outcomes.
Thrive in fast-moving environments where you're expected to take ownership and figure things out.
Experience with marketplaces involving real-world inventory, such as mobility, delivery, ecommerce, or travel, is particularly valuable.
Nuitée moves quickly, has little process, and gives people a lot of room to make decisions. You’ll do well here if ambiguity does not slow you down, you like going deep into difficult problems, and you want to be accountable for what your work actually delivers.
If this sounds like your kind of role, we’d love to hear from you. You can apply with your LinkedIn profile or CV.
