You will be accountable for quality performance, effective arbitration, and continuous improvement across the assigned locale. Your main responsibilities will include:
Analyse style guides, glossary updates, and client requirements to identify their impact on quality categories and content types, documenting changes and communicating expectations clearly.
Track client feedback, corrections, and decisions made during calibration and quality discussions to capture both documented standards and implicit expectations.
Serve as the primary linguistic point of contact for the client's Language Manager, handling clarifications, quality discussions, escalations, and arbitration.
Organise regular alignment roundtables with reviewers and post-editors to establish a consistent understanding of linguistic quality standards.
Prepare structured monthly quality reports covering performance, priority improvement areas, style guide updates, recurring errors, and arbitration outcomes.
Coach reviewers individually using concrete examples, conduct shadowing sessions, and deliver targeted training based on real quality and alignment data.
Monitor the locale's review service score, including RQE audit results and alignment performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain accurate, evidence-based arbitration records and ensure that every issue escalated to the client is valid, well-supported, and aligned with established procedures.
Identify recurring error patterns and justification trends, translating findings into well-reasoned proposals for style guide improvements.
Share cross-locale quality insights with the Quality Manager to support broader quality governance and continuous improvement.
Build a strong working relationship with the client’s Language Manager, ensuring that decisions are implemented consistently and expectations are increasingly aligned.
