This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive based in United States.
This role is responsible for driving enterprise growth for an AI-powered SaaS platform transforming how large organizations manage sourcing and procurement. You will own complex, high-value sales cycles from prospecting and discovery through negotiation, contract execution, and account expansion. The position combines strategic selling with hands-on pipeline generation, requiring strong relationships across C-suite executives, procurement leaders, and operational stakeholders. You will build new enterprise accounts while developing long-term customer relationships and identifying opportunities to expand usage and revenue. Close collaboration with marketing, product, customer success, solutions consulting, partnerships, and other sales teams will be central to your success. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced enterprise seller who thrives in complex environments and enjoys introducing innovative technology to major organizations.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans designed to achieve revenue targets and drive enterprise business growth.
- Prospect and hunt within large enterprise organizations, building an independent pipeline and engaging senior decision-makers around business needs and value opportunities.
- Land new enterprise accounts and systematically expand customer relationships, increasing platform adoption and revenue over time.
- Own the full sales cycle, from initial outreach, discovery, and qualification through solution development, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Build trusted relationships with executive-level buyers and procurement leaders while developing a broad network of contacts across each account.
- Understand customer objectives, challenges, and procurement processes to position solutions effectively and develop tailored proposals.
- Conduct regular business reviews, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and proactively address customer concerns.
- Partner closely with customer success to support effective onboarding, adoption, and long-term customer engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, solutions consultants, partnerships, BDRs, and other sales teams to create demand and close complex opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive developments to identify opportunities and refine sales strategies.
- Gather customer feedback and market intelligence and communicate relevant insights to internal teams to support product development and innovation.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting information and provide regular performance and revenue projections to sales leadership.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience selling transformational or emerging technology solutions to large enterprise accounts, ideally with a Global 2000 customer base and an established network of enterprise relationships.
- Experience in sourcing and procurement is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success landing new enterprise accounts and expanding them over time while consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets in complex B2B environments.
- Strong hunter mentality with the ability and willingness to independently generate and develop pipeline rather than relying primarily on marketing or BDR-generated opportunities.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of complex enterprise sales cycles, stakeholder management, procurement processes, and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with usage-based sales and consumption-based pricing models.
- Ability to engage confidently with C-suite executives while also building strong relationships with working-level influencers and practitioners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly collaborative approach with experience partnering across Account Executives, BDRs, marketing, customer success, solutions consulting, and partnerships.
- Ability to understand complex customer challenges and communicate the value of innovative technology in a compelling, business-oriented manner.
- Strong interest in transforming established business processes, particularly within enterprise procurement and sourcing.
Benefits:
- Annual pay range of $250,000–$330,000 USD.
- Total compensation package with additional components beyond base salary.
- Opportunity to work with an AI-powered platform addressing large-scale enterprise procurement challenges.
- High-impact role with significant ownership over sales strategy, customer acquisition, and account growth.
- Opportunity to work with senior enterprise stakeholders and major global organizations.
- Collaborative environment with cross-functional partnership across sales, product, marketing, customer success, solutions consulting, and partnerships.
- Opportunity to contribute to the growth and evolution of an emerging technology category.
- Equal opportunity workplace committed to diversity and inclusion.
- Compensation may vary based on factors including location, experience, and performance.
