Enterprise Account Executive, Malaysia - Public & Commercial Sector

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Enterprise Account Executive to drive Commvault’s growth across Malaysia’s Public and Commercial sectors, excluding Financial Services and Telecommunications.

You will be accountable for achieving sales targets across a defined portfolio of existing customers and high-value prospective accounts. Owning the full sales lifecycle, you will work closely with customers, partners and cross-functional teams to build pipeline, expand strategic accounts and deliver sustainable, multi-quarter growth.

Your focus will be on Commvault’s software, SaaS and services portfolio, helping Malaysian organisations strengthen data protection, cyber resilience and compliance across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Key Objectives:

Achieve and exceed sales targets
Deliver quarterly and annual revenue by securing new customers and expanding existing public and commercial-sector accounts across Malaysia.

Build strategic account plans and campaigns
Develop and execute multi-year strategies for priority accounts, with clear growth objectives, financial goals and measures of success.

Lead executive and cross-functional collaboration
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including Sales Engineering, partners, Marketing and executive sponsors, to develop and close complex, high-value opportunities.

Establish Commvault as a trusted technology partner
Position Commvault’s platform as a strategic solution for organisations seeking secure, scalable and compliant data protection, data management and cyber resilience capabilities.

How you will make an impact:

• Sell Commvault’s software, SaaS and services solutions through direct customer engagement and partner collaboration across Malaysia.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans focused on strategic acquisition, account penetration and long-term growth.
• Build and lead complex sales campaigns involving multiple stakeholders, from technical teams and procurement functions through to senior executives.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Channel, Legal, Finance and Delivery teams to progress opportunities and deliver successful customer outcomes.
• Develop business cases and executive-level presentations that clearly demonstrate Commvault’s business and technical value.
• Maintain high levels of sales activity, a healthy pipeline and accurate CRM records to support forecasting and operational reporting.
• Remain current on relevant Malaysian public-sector ICT priorities, procurement frameworks, data-sovereignty requirements and cybersecurity developments.
• Leverage alliances, hyperscalers, systems integrators, government-linked companies and channel partners to develop joint solutions, navigate procurement processes and extend Commvault’s market reach.
• Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

What you will bring:

• Demonstrated success in enterprise software and SaaS sales across the public and commercial sectors in Malaysia, with established customer relationships, particularly within government.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian government procurement processes, including budgeting cycles, regulatory requirements and procurement frameworks.
• A strong new-business orientation, with a proven track record of winning new logos and closing complex, high-value deals in regulated or security-sensitive environments.
• Experience in cybersecurity, AI, SaaS, data protection, disaster recovery or information management.
• Proven ability to engage, influence and build trusted relationships with senior government officials, CIOs, IT Directors, procurement leaders and other executive stakeholders.
• Experience working with and through alliances, hyperscalers, systems integrators, government-linked companies (GLCs) and channel partners.
• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, or an equivalent framework.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and executive presentation skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
