Develop and implement fleet policies, processes, and standards that improve efficiency, consistency, and cost control.
Oversee vehicle acquisition, replacement planning, and lifecycle management to optimize purchasing decisions and long-term fleet costs.

Establish best practices for vehicle use, maintenance, safety, and compliance across multiple states.
Monitor applicable DOT requirements and other relevant fleet regulations.
Collaborate with regional and operational leaders to understand business needs and ensure the fleet supports field teams effectively.
Build scalable fleet processes that can support continued company growth, with the potential to develop additional fleet support resources as the program expands.
Serve as the internal subject matter expert for fleet strategy, bringing forward recommendations and taking ownership of improvements from planning through execution.
Required Qualifications
Experience managing fleet operations, fleet strategy, or a related function.
Strong understanding of vehicle acquisition, maintenance, replacement cycles, and lifecycle cost management.
Experience managing budgets, analyzing expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Strong vendor management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to develop processes, establish standards, and drive improvements across multiple locations.

Preferred Experience
Experience overseeing a large, multi-state fleet, ideally numbering in the thousands of vehicles.
Experience working with fleet management companies such as Enterprise Fleet Management or Holman.
Experience managing fleets for field service, home services, or other distributed service organizations.
Familiarity with commercial vans, vehicle utilization, maintenance programs, and fleet replacement strategies.
Experience with DOT-related requirements and fleet compliance.
Experience partnering with Procurement and FP&A on budgets, vendor selection, and long-term fleet planning.
Experience building or transforming a fleet program rather than simply maintaining existing processes.
Reduces fleet costs through smarter purchasing, maintenance, and replacement strategies.
Establishes clear, consistent fleet processes across the organization.
Improves vehicle reliability, maintenance planning, and availability for field teams.
Builds strong vendor partnerships and ensures Sila receives competitive pricing and service.

Becomes a trusted internal authority on fleet operations and proactively drives meaningful change.
