## **About the role**
Socratix AI (YC S25) builds AI coworkers that investigate fraud and financial crime for banks, credit unions, and leading fintechs. We've closed multiple six-figure contracts since launch and are growing fast, and we need someone who can help us find, engage, and win the next wave of customers, and who can also get us in front of them in person.
This is not a "manage a pipeline and pass it along" role. As our first dedicated GTM hire, you'll own real pieces of the funnel (from building target account lists to running outbound campaigns to supporting founder-led sales calls) inside a market where the stakes (fraud losses, regulatory risk) are real and the pitch sells itself once people see the product work.
You'll also own how Socratix shows up in person: identifying the conferences, fairs, and industry forums worth attending, designing the materials that make our pitch land, and representing us at the booth when it counts.
You won't have a mature playbook behind you. You'll have direct access to the founders, full ownership over experiments you run, and the chance to help build Socratix's entire go-to-market motion, both outbound and in-person, from the ground up.
## **What You'll Do**
* Help design the GTM playbook and leverage AI tools to set up repeatable processes our team will scale with.
* Support the full sales cycle alongside the founders: help run discovery calls and demos, build customer-facing materials and manage live engagements.
* Turn field learnings (calls, outbound, events), into product input. Be close to prospects and customers, and translate what you hear to Product and Engineering priorities.
* Build and manage outbound: identify target accounts (banks, credit unions, fintechs) and the buyers within them.
* Run campaigns including cold email, LinkedIn, SEO, call sequences, testing messaging, targeting, channels, and content calendars. Design promotional campaigns and materials behind that outreach.
* Identify events, conferences, and forums where we should meet our customers. Own event logistics and represent Socratix at booths, talk to prospects, capture leads, and follow up.
* Own pipeline hygiene: keep target lists, campaign data, and CRM records clean and current so the team always knows where every deal stands.
## **What We're Looking For**
* A builder's mindset. You don't wait for a fully-formed process; you get started, learn fast, and turn what works into something repeatable.
* Strong written and verbal communicator. You can explain a technical, regulated product (AI agents making decisions banks act on) in plain language that a compliance or risk leader immediately understands.
* Comfort with leveraging AI to build repeatable high-impact processes.
* Comfortable with ambiguity and ownership. No manager will hand you a script; you'll be figuring things out in real time and asking for help when you need it.
* A good eye for design and aesthetics, comfortable putting together clean, professional campaign materials and booth collateral using whatever tool gets the job done.
* Comfortable being the face of the company in the room, representing Socratix AI at events and owning the logistics that go with it, without a lot of hand-holding.
* Detail-oriented and organized. You keep outbound lists, campaigns, and records clean without being asked twice.
* 0–2 years of experience, and new grads are welcome. A demonstrated track record of hustle (internships, campus organizations, side projects, prior sales/BD/marketing experience) matters more than years on a resume.
* Curiosity about fintech, fraud, risk, or applied AI, and genuine interest in learning how banks and compliance teams operate.
* Prior exposure to a startup, sales role, or founder-adjacent work is a plus, but not required.
## **Benefits**
We believe in generous, top-tier compensation and benefits:
* Competitive salary and equity benchmarked to top tech companies.
* Paid meals during workdays.
* 100% health, dental, and vision coverage.
* Hybrid schedule — in-office 3 days a week.
* Commuter benefits.
* Unlimited PTO.
## **About Socratix AI**
Socratix AI builds AI coworkers for fraud and risk teams. Our agents investigate alerts in real time and replace manual workflows with fast, explainable decisions. They integrate seamlessly into existing workflows and reason across signals like human analysts, helping teams cut fraud losses, reduce false positives, and scale operations without increasing headcount.
Since launch, we've seen strong market traction, closing multiple six-figure contracts. Now, we're growing quickly to keep pace with demand and are excited to expand our founding team in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you're passionate about building at the frontier of AI and financial security, we'd love to have you on the journey.
## **Who We Are**
We've seen this problem firsthand. At DoorDash, Riya built intelligent fraud detection and investigation tools that saved the company $30M+ annually, and at Unit21, she created products that enabled analysts to work 3× faster. At Cruise, Satya scaled AI systems to handle petabytes of data, and at LinkedIn, he launched enterprise products from 0 → 1, generating millions in new revenue.
Together, we bring deep expertise in fraud and AI (MIT, IIT, UCLA alumni). We're backed by Y Combinator, Pear VC, and founders/operators from DoorDash, Gusto, Square, OpenAI, and Roblox.
Our mission: to build AI coworkers that transform how fraud and risk teams operate.
## **Our Culture: F.O.R.C.E.**
We believe the right culture builds unstoppable teams. At Socratix, our values spell F.O.R.C.E., which is the driving force behind everything we do:
* **First Principles**: We start from truth, not tradition, and solve problems in original ways.
* **Ownership**: What you work on is yours to elevate; we take accountability and act with confidence.
* **Relentlessness**: We finish what we start, turning obstacles into breakthroughs.
* **Customer First**: Every decision is measured by one standard: does this make our customers' lives easier?
* **Empathy**: We respect differing perspectives, design for human needs, and build trust that lasts.
