Statisfy is an AI-powered customer intelligence platform. We help enterprise teams understand, manage and grow their customer relationships using AI agents and automation.
We are hiring our first Sales Engineer to win enterprise customers for Statisfy’s AI-powered customer intelligence platform. You’ll be the technical voice in every deal: running tailored product demos, owning pilots from scoping to a signed contract, and earning the trust of technical stakeholders on the buyer side. Our buyers are VPs of Customer Success and CCOs, and their RevOps, IT, data and security teams. You’ll turn their requirements into a scoped, proven solution and hand it off cleanly to onboarding.
As a founding member of the go-to-market team, you’ll work hand in hand with Sales, Product and Customer Success. You won’t just run the playbook; you’ll write it, from the demo environment to the pilot framework to the handoff into onboarding.
This role is based in India and requires working US East Coast (ET) business hours. Our customers and sales team are in North America, so you’ll be live on calls, demos and pilot check-ins during their day.
Please apply only if you can sustain this schedule long term.
Product Demos: Lead technical discovery to understand each prospect’s requirements, data sources, systems and success criteria. Build and run demos from those requirements, using the customer’s own use cases and data rather than a generic product tour, leveraging Claude and Claude Code. Run day-in-the-life demos and sandbox trials on the customer’s own data, so they can see agents working before they buy.
Own Pilots & POCs: Scope pilots with clear success criteria, connect prospect data (CRM, support, product usage, communication tools), build agents and workflows that prove value, and drive pilots to a buying decision.
Technical Stakeholder Relationships: Become the trusted advisor to RevOps, IT, data and security teams. Address architecture, integration and data-privacy questions, lead security reviews and questionnaires, and answer RFPs and RFIs, with a reusable answer library and fast turnaround. Address build-versus-buy conversations with technical teams, including teams assembling their own agents with Claude and MCP.
Partner with Sales: Co-own deal strategy with Account Executives, from discovery calls and technical qualification to proposals, objection handling and closing. Sales owns the relationship and commercials; you own technical fit and proof.
Partner with Product: Bring back field insights, competitive intel and feature requests from prospects to shape roadmap priorities.
Partner with Customer Success: Hand off won pilots cleanly, with documented requirements, configurations and success metrics, so onboarding starts fast.
Build the SE Function: Create the demo environment, reusable demo agents and datasets, pilot playbooks, ROI and value-case templates, and technical collateral that future SEs will use.
5+ years in a customer-facing technical pre-sales role (Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant or similar), ideally selling B2B SaaS to US enterprise or mid-market buyers.
A track record of building and delivering product demos and pilots that converted into closed revenue. You’ve led enterprise technical evaluations independently. Equivalent experience as an early-stage SE counts.
Strong knowledge of SaaS systems and integrations: CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot), support platforms (Zendesk, Intercom), product analytics, BI tools and data pipelines.
Hands-on comfort with APIs, scripting, SQL and workflow automation or low-code platforms, enough to build a working pilot yourself.
Hands-on experience with AI tools like Claude, Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. Familiarity with LLM agents, and the ability to explain AI concepts clearly to non-technical buyers.
Excellent communication and storytelling: you’re as comfortable presenting to a VP of Customer Success as you are whiteboarding an integration with their data team.
A founder mindset: you’re self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to build a process from scratch at an early-stage startup.
Bonus: Experience handling security reviews (SOC 2, GDPR), or having been an early SE at a startup.
Be the founding Sales Engineer and shape how Statisfy sells, demos and proves value from day one.
Work at the frontier of AI-powered customer automation, helping enterprises rethink how they manage customer relationships.
Have direct influence on revenue and on product direction.
Join a collaborative, fast-paced startup culture with significant growth opportunities.
Competitive compensation, benefits and equity.
