## **About Us**
Coach is building the AI coach for the physical world. Starting with in-person sales.
For centuries, field organizations have relied on layers of management to relay information, coach teams, and understand performance. We believe AI will radically change how these companies operate and how people learn and improve at work.
Today, understanding why a sales rep succeeds or struggles still requires being alongside them in the field. That doesn’t scale. And yet roughly 80% of global sales still happen offline.
Coach helps employees learn faster, improve, and close more. Managers get a clear view of what’s happening, where people need help, and why, so they can focus on solving problems.
Our custom AI harness turns field conversations and business context into **sales intelligence**, grounding coaching in what actually happens on the ground. Over time, that accumulated knowledge becomes a **company brain**: a shared understanding of how the business works.
We’re bringing AI to people who have never had a reason to use it, by making it part of the human interactions at the heart of their work. In-person sales is only the beginning
## **The role**
Be Coach’s first salesperson based in Paris. **$1.5M ARR in 8 months, closed entirely by the CEO.** Now he needs the one who takes France: build the sales machine with him, then run it when the founders move to San Francisco to win the US market.
You sell to owners of field sales networks (energy, home improvement, kitchens, security). **€30-50K ARR deals, \~30-day cycles, 100% of pilots converted to paying customers so far.** Full-cycle: you build your lists, you dial, you close. No SDR feeding you meetings, no inherited playbook, no layer between you and the CEO.
**The first 6-12 months are 100% execution, you get your hands dirty. Zero management.** We work hard and hold each other to a high standard. If the profile and the numbers are there, there is real potential to take on big management responsibility as the team grows : nothing promised, everything earned.
## **Team**
We're a small team in SF and Paris, growing fast. With just two employees (Customer Success + Engineering), and we're scaling aggressively from here.
You will work directly with **Mathieu, CEO and co-founder**. Former pro footballer, he closed the first million of ARR. Around you: Thomas (COO, customer success), Nicolas (CTO).
## **Your first 30 days**
* **Close your first deal**
* **Prospect massively.** Mostly cold calling, every day, to fill your own calendar. Test other channels to build your lists, but the phone is your main weapon.
* Shadow the CEO on demos, then run your first discovery calls solo.\*\*
## **Your first 60-90 days**
* Your first full month of quota hit
* A pipeline at 3x your monthly target: clean stages, honest forecast, a named next step on every deal
* Your discovery and demo patterns found, written into the playbook
* Next quarter’s targets co-built with Mathieu
## **What you’ll do**
* **Prospecting and pipeline.** You build your lists, you cold call, you fill your own calendar.
* **Closing.** Discovery, demo, negotiation, signature. You carry the deal end to end, from first dial to client kick-off.
* **Playbook.** What you learn with the CEO, you write down. The France sales playbook will carry your signature, and it’s what the whole team will run on after you.
* **Product sensor.** You surface what’s winning, what’s losing, and what we need to change to win more.
## **What we’re looking for**
* **4-5+ years in sales, and you grew through the ranks**: prospecting, then closing, then lead responsibilities (team lead, senior AE, go-to person). Ideally within the same company.
* **Full-cycle is non-negotiable.** You’ve built lists from scratch AND closed deals you sourced yourself.
* **You come from an underdog** Selling for the market leader with insane PMF, the brand does it for you. We want people who sold a product nobody was waiting for, against bigger competitors, and still hit their numbers.
* **You know your numbers**: attainment across years, conversion by stage...
* **Comfortable with owners of traditional businesses.** Our buyers aren’t CTOs on Slack: they’re field network owners, on the phone and face to face.
* **The fire, and the fabric.** You want to live the founder life without (yet) starting your own company: full ownership, early-stage chaos, direct impact. Management ambition is a plus we actively want, on one condition: proving it on the field first.
* **Native French, working English.**
## **Bonus**
* You come from the verticals we equip (home improvement, energy, construction, kitchens) or you’ve sold to them
* You’ve sold to owners of traditional SMBs / mid-market field businesses
* Ex-entrepreneur back in a full-time role
* You already use AI heavily in your daily sales work
## **Don’t sign if**
* Cold calling scares you, or you consider it “an SDR’s job”
* You need leads served to you and a finished playbook
* Your first question is how many people you’ll manage
* You’d rather spend your days configuring the CRM than calling
* You’re looking for a freelance gig or a consulting mission
* You don’t want your own calls recorded and coached
* Your past misses were always the product’s fault, or marketing’s
## **Compensation, straight up**
* **OTE €60-120K**
* **8-12% Commission**, **never capped**
* **Guaranteed variable during your ramp-up**
* **0.05-0.30% equity**
Visa sponsorship is offered for this role.
