We are hiring a Software Engineer for our Customer Success team. As an outcome-based team with a north star of Net Revenue Retention (NRR) you will be directly connected to our customers, and your code changes will directly impact the value that our customers get from our advertiser platform.
You
You will be responsible for writing clean, secure and well-tested code. You follow best-practice guidelines and help to improve them. Your code is open by default and easy for others to reuse. You are part of a team and with the team extend, maintain and operate assigned parts of our platform.
You have an understanding of the user needs within your service and work with the product manager, UX, and other team members to create technical solutions. You lead the entire lifecycle of a service or product, from understanding customer problems through development and deployment to support and maintenance.
You show an understanding for deadlines, find pragmatic solutions and are proactive in raising potential risks.
You will help the team in solving the challenges that arise as our business grows and develops; working together to ensure the service continues to meet the needs of our business and its customers.
The Team
The Customer Success team is a newly established team and this gives you the opportunity to do more than design and create great software. We’ll need you to support your new colleagues, influence and contribute to ways of working and best practices, and establish the culture in this new team from the beginning.
For your growth, you'll have access to the O'Reilly learning platform, plus hackathons and cross-team initiatives that offer plenty of opportunities to learn from people in the many other teams across Awin's engineering organisation.
Skills & Expertise
Your technical skills are as important to us as your soft skills. We are interested in people who are open, enthusiastic, and keen to contribute positively to the culture of the team.
As the Customer Success team, we need engineers who demonstrate they think about the customer and how their work impacts them.
As a team, we are passionate about continuous improvement, and are seeking people who can demonstrate a growth mindset and how they have learnt from mistakes.
We value everyone’s opinion and experience as much as we value delivering and team cohesion, and we consider a challenge and commit mindset to be crucial to balance these.
