## **About Cercli**
Cercli is the AI-native people platform for HR and recruitment: hire faster, run your whole team in one place, and put AI agents to work on the busywork.
We’ve raised $16M across our Series A, led by Picus Capital, with Y Combinator, Afore Capital and Cotu Ventures with angels like Karim from Ramp, Sebastian from Rappi and Tony from Oyster.
## **Why Cercli**
The last big shift, from on-premise to cloud, created HR giants that are now legacy: tables of records with no context on how people actually work, and interfaces built for forms and approvals. AI gives us a once-in-a-generation chance to rebuild that system of record from the ground up. Cercli is the HR platform for the AI age. It's one living graph of your organization and its people, with AI coworkers that amplify people teams, from hire to payslip.
**Our recruiting vertical** is an entire product line: AI recruiting agents and an AI-native ATS in one platform. It replaces standalone sourcing and screening tools and standalone ATSs, so customers can source, screen and manage talent all the way up to offer management. It sells two ways: self-serve for teams that want to start today, and sales-led for companies rolling it out across hiring teams.
## **What you'll do**
**Own the number**
* Own the country P&L. Set and hit the revenue plan for our product lines, across sales-led deals and self-serve revenue.
* You will run deals end to end, work directly with founders and product, and help shape the sales organisation - from messaging and motion to hiring and culture. You won’t be inheriting a playbook. You’ll be writing it.
* Own the US budget: headcount, programs and tools.
**Build the machine**
* Define ICP, segmentation, and positioning for the market
* Fix the handoff between self-serve and sales: which signups get a human, when, and how they expand.
* Build partnerships that bring pipeline: integration partners (HRIS, job boards, existing ATSs), recruiting firms, VC platform teams.
* Identify the highest-leverage acquisition channels: direct sales, events, partnerships, paid acquisition.
* Represent Cercli at HR and talent events and in founder communities.
* Own the handoff to onboarding and customer success, and build out the team for it
**Build the team**
* Hire, onboard and lead the US go-to-market, customer success and onboarding teams.
* Hold a high bar for craft.
**Be the voice of the customer**
* Win displacement deals: replace incumbent ATSs and standalone sourcing and screening tools with one platform.
* Bring what you hear on calls back to the product weekly, with clear asks and the revenue behind them.
* Shape pricing and packaging for US buyers, from startup founders to Heads of Talent at scaling companies.
* Work with brand and marketing on positioning, events and content that create pipeline, not just awareness.
## **Who you are**
**Must have**
* Former founder or builder mindset: you've started something, or built a team/market from scratch inside a startup. You know what it takes to create something from nothing.
* 5+ years in B2B go-to-market, with at least 3 years leading a revenue team or a business line with P&L responsibility.
* You still sell. You have personally closed mid-market deals in the last 2 years and want to keep doing it.
* Operator rigor: you build the forecast, the comp plan and the CRM hygiene yourself before you delegate them.
* Based in, or open to relocating to New York.
* Alignment with our purpose (our why) and our values (our how).
**Would move you to the top of the candidate pool**
* You have taken a product from early traction to 8 figure $ ARR, and can show the numbers.
* A network of Heads of Talent, recruiting leaders and founders you can call this month.
* You have sold to HR, Talent or People leaders, or to founders and CEOs of 50-1,000 person companies.
* Experience running a hybrid motion: product-led signups feeding a sales-led team.
* You use AI to 10x your output while maintaining a high level of craft.
## **This role is not for you if**
* You want to inherit a large team and a proven playbook. You will build both.
* You have only managed managers in the last 3 years and no longer run deals yourself.
* You prefer quarterly planning cycles to weekly ones. We move on a weekly cadence and change course fast and with momentum as needed.
* You're not keen on traveling. Getting in front of customers, at their offices, events, and conferences, is a core part of how we build an enduring product loved by users.
* You dislike cold outreach. Hunting is a core part of the job, at this stage you'll own your pipeline coverage entirely.
* You need strong brand recognition to sell Cercli. We're growing our US presence and need someone who thrives on finding new ways to unlock growth.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
