What You Will Do:
Support tooling concept development, design, and drafting activities using Unigraphics (NX) and/or CATIA V5 in alignment with engineering standards and manufacturing requirements.
Provide manufacturing engineering support to shopfloor operations, including machine shop and assembly activities, to ensure smooth production execution.
Perform DFA/DFM analysis for composite, machined, sheet metal, and plastic components and assemblies to improve manufacturability and quality.
Support the definition and execution of installation and assembly sequences for complex aerospace assemblies.
Assist with trim and finish processes on final aerospace products in compliance with engineering and quality requirements.
Work proactively and independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Design, Manufacturing, and Quality.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office tools, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
What You Will Learn:
Aerospace manufacturing engineering processes and tooling development practices.
Application of DFA/DFM principles in real production environments.
Assembly installation sequencing and shopfloor execution for complex aerospace products.
AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements and aerospace quality standards.
Use of PLM tools such as Teamcenter for product data and configuration management.
Exposure to trim and finish processes used in aerospace manufacturing.
Cross-functional collaboration across Design, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
0–1 year of experience in manufacturing support, with hands-on experience in machining and/or assembly shopfloor operations.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, and methods.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
Experience using Unigraphics (NX) or CATIA V5.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing environments.
Exposure to Teamcenter PLM.
Understanding of AS9102 / FAI documentation and aerospace quality standards.
Experience supporting machine shop or assembly line operations.
Exposure to aerospace interiors.
Familiarity with macros or automation tools.
Knowledge of quality control tools and structured problem solving.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
