Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Controls & Automation Intern with basic PLC knowledge to support our controls engineering team in automation design, programming, and documentation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in PLC programming, testing, and debugging activities under the guidance of senior engineers
- Support in the development and modification of HMI screens and SCADA systems
- Help in preparing electrical and controls documentation including I/O lists, control narratives, and wiring diagrams
- Assist in panel wiring verification and controls testing during machine commissioning activities
- Support in troubleshooting automation and controls-related issues
- Help maintain and organise controls program files and technical documentation
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently pursuing or recently completed B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognised institution
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming (Allen Bradley / Siemens / Mitsubishi — any one preferred)
- Fundamental understanding of automation systems, control panels, and industrial wiring
- Basic familiarity with HMI/SCADA concepts is an added advantage
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and a hands-on attitude
