Base is America’s next-generation power company. We’re rebuilding the foundation of modern civilization–electricity–by deploying a vast network of distributed batteries that is transforming today’s fragile, centralized grid into a resilient and abundant system. We are engineers, operators, and creatives solving some of the most complex, interdisciplinary challenges of our time.
We're looking for a Graphic Designer who loves making things. This is a highly execution-focused role for someone who takes pride in craft, speed, and consistency. You'll work within an established brand system to create marketing, sales, print, and digital assets that help Base launch new markets, support customers, and grow awareness of our products.
You'll spend most of your time in Figma creating marketing campaigns, sales materials, one-pagers, direct mail, presentations, social content, and launch assets. Experience designing web and landing page experiences is a plus, but not required.

Experience working at a startup or in-house creative team.
The Brand and Creative team helps translate Base’s products, technology, and mission into something people can understand and trust. We work across nearly every part of the business, from launching new markets and supporting utility partnerships to helping homeowners understand a completely new kind of power company.
Unlike many design teams that focus on a single product or channel, our work spans digital experiences, physical products, sales enablement, marketing campaigns, events, and print. The result is a team that gets to build real things, see them in the world, and directly influence how thousands of people experience Base.
We’re a small team that moves quickly and values people who can operate with a high degree of ownership. If you're excited by tangible impact, strong creative partnerships, and the opportunity to produce a large volume of meaningful work, you'll fit right in.
Please note: Base is a startup, which means priorities shift and evolve quickly. Your role may expand or change based on the needs of the business at any given time, so the responsibilities listed may not be exhaustive.
First Principles Thinking: Question assumptions. Principles > rules.
Operate at Base Pace: Focus on what matters, act quickly, and learn by doing.
Give & Get Feedback: Be direct, be humble, and maintain a growth mindset.
Everyone’s an Owner: Follow through on commitments and own results.
Strong Opinions, Loosely Held: Drive clarity and make calls with imperfect information.
Committed to the Mission: Rebuilding the grid is a big challenge. We work hard because we care deeply about the impact we’re creating. We work in-person. It’s not a 9-to-5. We are all-in.
Fun & Optimism Coexist with Grit: Collaboration and celebration coincide with the intensity of building real things.
