Group Product Manager

We're looking for a Group Product Manager to lead, grow, and empower a team of product managers building for our AI-powered litigation platform. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy and people leadership and is a great fit for a product leader who cares deeply about craft, is comfortable with technical ambiguity, and has a track record of shipping exceptional enterprise AI products.

This role will be responsible for Everlaw’s Platform Administration and Corporate Entry product area. This product area is focused on enabling large, complex organizations to adopt and scale Everlaw securely and covers enterprise onboarding and administration, legal holds administration and high-volume data collection, ingestion, and processing. In this role, you will act as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring products meet customer needs and expectations, and will engage directly with customers and industry stakeholders to gather insights and validate product concepts.

At Everlaw, our mission is to promote justice by illuminating truth. Our company culture is open and vibrant and we’re committed to the professional growth of our team members, offering an annual learning and development stipend and regular check-ins with managers regarding career goals. If you’re looking for a place that values passion, integrity, thinking big, and a desire to learn, we’d love to hear from you!

We do not believe in the ‘perfect’ candidate. If you’re passionate about the role and feel you can contribute meaningfully, we encourage you to apply. This is a full-time position based in our Oakland, California office, with a hybrid schedule: in-office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

How we're different

• Built for the AI Era: Everlaw has been committed to AI-assisted workflows for over a decade with tools like predictive coding and document clustering. We’ve continued this leadership into the generative AI era, with best-in-class features like Deep Dive and Coding Suggestions. We don’t layer AI onto our product - we architect intelligent, trustworthy systems grounded in enduring trust that deliver value to users every day.
• Culture and Growth at the Forefront: With a generous L&D budget, clearly codified values, and a commitment to long-term thinking, integrity and discipline, we create an environment where careers grow with intention and purpose.
• Thoughtful Onboarding: Our structured onboarding program ensures you understand our product, customers, and market and quickly integrates you into the team, setting you up to contribute thoughtfully from day one.
• Impact That Matters: Through Everlaw for Good, we offer our technology free or at heavily discounted rates to journalists, nonprofits, and pro bono attorneys to advance equitable access to justice beyond the boundaries of business.

In your role, you'll...

• Lead Product Strategy, Vision & Execution: Work with your team to define and own a multi-year strategy and roadmap aligned with company priorities and customer needs.
• Build a First-Class AI Product Experience: Guide PMs in ensuring our AI feature set is best in class for the dynamically evolving legal AI space. You’ll develop a deep understanding of the market, competitive landscape, and user behavior to inform prioritization decisions.
• Develop Product Talent: Lead and elevate a team of 3–6 product managers, fostering a culture of sharp analytical thinking and product excellence. Drive their success through clear feedback, mentorship and bespoke growth plans, while employing a consistent strategy for long-term career development.
• Elevate Product Craft: Model disciplined, critical use of AI across the full product development lifecycle, and develop AI-augmented ways of working with clear norms around when and how to soundly incorporate AI-generated output into the final work product.
• Scale and Drive Team Accountability: Grow the team through intentional hiring and operational refinement, while setting clear expectations and upholding our values and behavioral standards. Drive high performance and accountability, connecting work to the company vision and ensuring every PM is empowered to deliver measurable impact.
• Drive Cross-Functional Excellence: Partner with the design team to ensure user experience is a first-class citizen. Shepherd product development and enable go-to-market teams so they're armed to tell the right story and support customers with confidence. Identify R&D-wide process gaps and lead execution of improvements.
• Model People Leadership: Lead, motivate and influence others across your team and the business. You’ll serve as a senior PM stakeholder in leadership forums, business reviews, and executive presentations. You will drive cross-functional collaboration, and foster an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued.
