Group Sales Account Growth Executive

About Us

Award-winning and people-first, SimplePractice is shaping the future of health tech. In 2026, we were recognized by BuiltIn as a Best Remote Company to Work For, Software Guru's Best Places to Code, Becker Healthcare Telehealth Companies to Know, and we won a MedTech Breakthrough Award for Best Practice Management Solution Provider.

The Role

SimplePractice customers trust us because we help health and wellness practitioners thrive — including enabling them to self-serve their way onto an all-in-one platform that gives them everything they need to run their practice with peace of mind. The next chapter of our growth is helping that same customer base see what's possible beyond the first problem we solved: an expanding, AI-native portfolio that supports their entire practice, from intake and scheduling to documentation and insurance billing.

This role sits within our sales organization that is actively evolving — maturing our processes, systems, and go-to-market motion as we scale — so the person in this seat needs to be flexible, resourceful, and energized by building rather than simply executing an established playbook. It's fast-paced work, but it's also deeply relational: you're not cold-selling a stranger, you're helping practitioners who already trust us solve real, everyday problems with solutions they didn't know we had.

The Customer Growth Executive drives revenue growth within Group Sales by owning the full sales cycle for a targeted list of customer accounts that have yet to adopt SimplePractice's growing portfolio of AI-native products. By expanding customers from single-purpose features into bundled ecosystems, this role drives operational efficiency across the entire client lifecycle — from intake to session management, documentation, and insurance reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle — prospecting, qualifying, demoing, negotiating, and closing — for a defined list of target accounts.
• Identify accounts within the target list that have yet to adopt SimplePractice's AI-native products and build tailored outreach strategies to drive adoption.
• Develop account strategies, determine how to prioritize your portfolio, navigate negotiations/objections, and make recommendations based on customer and account data.
• Position and sell the expanded, bundled product ecosystem rather than single-purpose features.
• Conduct outbound prospecting to build an advanced pipeline across the assigned account list.
• Keep CRM and account data clean and current to support forecasting and territory planning.
• Contribute to account strategy sessions by sharing customer insights, identifying expansion opportunities, and providing recommendations that inform pipeline and account planning."
• Manage a portfolio of Group Sales accounts with varying levels of complexity, navigating multiple customer needs and stakeholders while identifying opportunities to expand adoption across SimplePractice’s product portfolio.
• Demonstrate leadership through strong ownership and commercial judgment, partnering cross-functionally and sharing customer and market insights that help inform account strategies, sales processes, and team best practices.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience.
• Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and excellent communication skills needed, both verbal and written
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a track record of building and closing pipelines independently.
• Experience working in a CRM (HubSpot experience a plus) and strong documentation and hygiene are required
• Experience upselling current customer accounts, strong background with navigating multiple systems to understand holistically what opportunities there are for expansion.
• Experience selling bundled or multi-product solutions preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
