At Pennylane, Growth Engineering is about more than building landing pages or running experiments. It's about creating fast, reliable and seamless digital experiences that help entrepreneurs discover Pennylane and get started.
As we expand across Europe, our website and acquisition journeys need to become more scalable, more flexible and more effective.
We're looking for a Growth Engineer with strong frontend expertise to help us build the next generation of Pennylane's digital experiences.
You'll join our Growth Engineering team and work closely with Thomas, our Growth Engineering Team Lead, within the Marketing Website squad.
Your work will have a direct impact on how users discover, experience and adopt Pennylane.
You'll develop and improve our public website and acquisition journeys, with a strong focus on frontend engineering.
Build modern, responsive and high-performing interfaces using Vue.js and Nuxt.js.
Develop and maintain fullstack features using Ruby on Rails.
Improve website performance, accessibility and user experience.
Build reusable components and scalable frontend solutions.
You'll work closely with Growth, Marketing and Data teams to turn business opportunities into technical solutions.
Build and improve acquisition and registration funnels.
Design and implement A/B tests and new user experiences.
Improve conversion through technical experimentation.
Develop features that support our international expansion, including localization and multilingual experiences.
You'll contribute to the technical foundations that power our growth initiatives.
Build and maintain APIs and integrations between internal and external tools.
Ensure reliable data flows across our digital ecosystem.
Contribute to tracking implementations and data quality improvements.
Work with Data teams to better understand user journeys and experiment results.
You'll help us move fast without compromising engineering quality.
Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
Identify opportunities to simplify and automate workflows.
Use AI-powered development tools when they bring real value.
Take ownership of your projects, from technical design to production.
Share knowledge and contribute to engineering best practices.
We're looking for an engineer who enjoys building products, solving technical challenges and seeing the impact of their work.
Someone who combines strong engineering fundamentals with curiosity about user experience, experimentation and business impact.
You don't need to be a marketing expert. But you should enjoy understanding why you're building something, not just how to build it.
You have experience in software engineering, with strong frontend development skills.
You're comfortable building modern web applications with Vue.js and/or Nuxt.js, or have strong experience with comparable frameworks and are ready to work with our stack.
You're fluent in AI-assisted development : you work with coding agents, create custom skills and instructions, use worktrees to parallelize work and keep code quality high.
You have fullstack experience and can contribute to backend development. Experience with Ruby on Rails is a strong plus.
You enjoy taking ownership of technical projects from idea to production.
You're comfortable collaborating with Engineering, Product, Growth, Marketing and Data teams.
You're curious about experimentation, conversion optimization and how users interact with digital products.
You're comfortable working in French and English.
Web analytics and tracking tools such as Segment, Amplitude or Google Tag Manager.
A/B testing and experimentation platforms.
SEO, web performance or conversion optimization.
API integrations and marketing automation.
AI-assisted development workflows.
Frontend: Vue.js, Nuxt.js, JavaScript
Backend: Ruby on Rails
Database: PostgreSQL
Development: Git, GitHub
You'll also have opportunities to work with analytics, tracking and experimentation tools depending on the projects.
Real impact: Your work will directly influence how new customers discover and adopt Pennylane.
Engineering challenges: You'll build scalable solutions, not just implement marketing requests.
Ownership: You'll have the freedom to propose ideas, make technical decisions and drive projects forward.
Cross-functional collaboration: You'll work at the intersection of Engineering, Growth, Marketing and Data.
Room to experiment: You'll be encouraged to test ideas, learn from results and continuously improve what we build.
If you love building great web experiences and want your engineering work to have a measurable impact, we'd love to meet you.
