At Verto, we're on a mission to democratise global finance and empower businesses in Emerging Markets to reach the world. Founded by British-Nigerian entrepreneurs Ola Oyetayo and Anthony Oduu, our roots in Africa provided a firsthand understanding of the significant challenges businesses face with cross-border payments, ranging from illiquid currencies and high fees to slow transactions. This deep-rooted insight is why Africa remains a core focus, as we're committed to bridging the gap between emerging and developed markets and fostering global economic growth.
What started as an FX solution for the Nigerian Naira has evolved into a market-leading platform, enabling thousands of businesses to seamlessly transfer billions of dollars annually. We believe that where you do business shouldn’t determine your success or ability to scale. We're creating equal access to the easy payment and liquidity solutions that are already a given in developed markets.
We're not alone in realising this crucial need; we're backed by world-class investors including Y-Combinator, Quona, and MEVP. With Verto receiving the Milken-Motsepe Prize, appearing on CNBCs list of fastest growing UK companies, the Deloitte Fast 50 and Sifted’s fastest-growing UK tech companies, we are building a seamless cross-border payment future.
Join us as we continue to grow and transform global finance.
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Growth and Marketing Manager to spearhead customer acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts across the UAE. In this pivotal role, you will build a strong local brand presence, launch high-impact campaigns, and drive measurable B2B growth. By identifying new market opportunities and leveraging your deep digital marketing expertise, you will play a central role in advancing Verto’s mission to become the leading cross-border payments partner in the region.
Drive B2B customer acquisition by developing pipeline strategies that yield high-intent, ICP-aligned prospects — focusing on deal quality, conversion rates, and pipeline velocity over raw lead volume.

Partner closely with the Sales and Product team to design and execute highly effective Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns, continuously refine our ICP, and conduct win/loss analyses.
Collaborate with the central global marketing team to activate paid media campaigns, ensuring local marketing activities are data-driven and commercially focused.
Establish and aggressively scale Verto's local market presence in the UAE through strategic PR, thought leadership, local industry events, and brand partnerships.
Develop compelling, region-specific content tailored to the UAE, including customer success stories, market trend reports, white papers, and sales enablement materials.
Identify and cultivate strategic marketing partnerships with local industry associations, fintech partners, and relevant business organizations to expand Verto's reach.
Work alongside the Retention Lead to launch initiatives that strengthen customer engagement, loyalty, and advocacy throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
Track, analyze, and rigorously report on campaign performance, taking direct responsibility for significantly increasing the number of active UAE customers within your first 6-12 months.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in growth marketing, with a proven track record of driving measurable customer acquisition through data-driven marketing strategies.
Deep, practical understanding of the UAE market, encompassing both traditional and digital B2B marketing landscapes.
Hands-on proficiency with modern marketing automation and product analytics tools such as HubSpot, PostHog, and major social media platforms.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to accurately interpret performance data, identify actionable trends, and continuously refine campaign strategies.
Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to craft compelling, high-converting messaging tailored for diverse B2B audiences.
High agility and the organizational capacity to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
A track record of collaborating directly with Sales to understand unit economics, sales cycles, and deal disqualification criteria.
Proven ability to dissect complex B2B products and articulate clear ROI, efficiency, and risk-reduction messaging to finance decision-makers (CFOs, Treasurers, Managing Directors).
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
A strong background in marketing scalable SaaS platforms, particularly in B2B environments.
Direct experience navigating the fast-paced, high-agility environment of a rapidly expanding start-up or scale-up.
