About Zilliz
Zilliz is building the next generation of data infrastructure for AI. Founded in 2017 by the creators of Milvus, one of the world's most popular open-source vector databases, we help developers and enterprises build, deploy, and scale AI-powered applications, from semantic search and RAG to emerging agentic AI workloads.
Backed by $113 million in funding from leading global investors, Zilliz has established a strong presence in the AI infrastructure market. Milvus has earned over 46,000 GitHub stars, and our technology has reached more than 10,000 enterprise users worldwide. Companies including OpenEvidence, Exa, and Filevine rely on Zilliz Cloud to power their AI applications.
Building on our roots in vector database technology, we're expanding Zilliz Cloud into a broader AI data platform with Zilliz Vector Lakebase. As AI continues to reshape how applications are built and how data is used, we're focused on making the underlying infrastructure more powerful, scalable, and accessible to organizations worldwide.
About the Role
We're looking for a technically minded Growth Marketing Manager to help us turn product interest into meaningful adoption and business growth.
This is a hands-on role with ownership across growth strategy, digital acquisition, and conversion optimization. You'll identify opportunities, build and test landing pages, improve user journeys, and find better ways to turn interested developers and businesses into active product users and qualified sales opportunities.
With Milvus's open-source ecosystem, Zilliz Cloud's self-service experience, and our consumption-based business model, growth at Zilliz goes beyond generating traffic and leads. You'll work closely with Product Marketing, Product Management, and Sales to connect our technical products with the right audiences and help them take the next step.
We're looking for someone who enjoys both figuring out what works and rolling up their sleeves to make it happen.
What You'll Do
Growth Strategy & Acquisition
- Develop and execute growth strategies to attract high-intent audiences across digital channels, from individual developers to enterprise buyers.
- Identify opportunities across the customer journey and prioritize initiatives based on their potential to improve acquisition, conversion, and product adoption.
- Own growth experiments from planning and execution through measurement, using results to refine strategies and scale what works.
Conversion & Digital Experience
- Build, test, and optimize landing pages and digital journeys that connect audience intent with relevant product value and clear next steps.
- Use AI-assisted tools, CMS platforms, and automation to independently launch and improve digital experiences without relying on engineering for every change.
- Improve conversion across key touchpoints, including product sign-ups, demo requests, and activation journeys.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing on messaging and Product Management on opportunities to improve the user experience and product adoption.
Analytics, Experimentation & Lifecycle Growth
- Track and analyze growth performance across acquisition, conversion, product activation, and qualified sales opportunities.
- Identify friction and drop-off across conversion funnels, using data and experimentation to improve performance and acquisition efficiency.
- Develop behavior-based nurture and re-engagement programs that help interested users progress toward product activation and sales engagement.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or related roles, preferably in B2B SaaS or technical software companies.
- Experience owning growth initiatives end to end, with a track record of improving acquisition, conversion, or product adoption.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex software products, developer workflows, and technical audiences.
- Hands-on experience building and optimizing landing pages, managing conversion tracking, and analyzing user journeys.
- Strong analytical skills, with practical experience in growth experimentation, funnel analysis, and performance measurement.
- Experience with marketing and analytics tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, CMS platforms, and automation solutions.
- Comfortable using AI tools and lightweight technical solutions to build, test, and launch growth initiatives independently.
- A proactive, resourceful approach to problem-solving, with the ability to move between strategy and execution and work effectively across teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with developer tools, databases, cloud infrastructure, open-source software, or AI platforms.
- A background in software engineering, technical product management, solutions engineering, or a related technical field.
- Working knowledge of SQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, APIs, or scripting for analytics and automation.
- Experience with product-led growth, self-service SaaS, or consumption-based business models.
What Success Looks Like
- Qualified Growth: Increase meaningful product activation and growth-sourced, sales-accepted opportunities.
- Conversion Performance: Improve landing page conversion rates and the progression from initial engagement to sign-up, demo requests, and product activation.
- Sustainable Growth: Build a repeatable experimentation process that improves acquisition efficiency and helps more users realize value from Zilliz products.
Benefits
- Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans for employees and eligible family members.
- Unlimited PTO: Flexible paid time off to rest, recharge, and take care of personal needs.
- Competitive Compensation and Equity: Competitive cash compensation and long-term incentive opportunities, including stock options.
- 401(k) with Company Match: Retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions.
