Summary:
The Department of Gynecologic Oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gynecologic Oncologist to join our faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
Roswell Park is the nation’s first cancer center and an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Our department is a high-volume, research-intensive gynecologic oncology program with a strong clinical trials portfolio and an expanding translational research footprint. Rather than operating within a traditional departmental silo, our faculty work across an integrated cancer-center ecosystem, with direct access to clinical trials infrastructure, genomics and biostatistics shared resources, biospecimen platforms, and collaborative research programs across the institution.
A Department with National Momentum
Our faculty are active contributors to the future of gynecologic oncology through cooperative group research, investigator-initiated trials, translational science, national committees, and guideline-informing work.
Recent departmental momentum includes:
• Multiple active NCI- and DoD-funded research programs representing multi-million-dollar extramural support
• A broad clinical trials portfolio spanning cell therapy, immunotherapy, targeted agents, cooperative group studies, and lifestyle interventions
• High-impact peer-reviewed publications, including work in Lancet, Nature Communications, JAMA, JAMA Oncology, JITC, and Cancer Cell
• Strong patient experience scores and multiple “Top Doctor”–recognized faculty
We are equally deliberate about the environment in which this work happens. We are committed to a collegial, supportive department that invests in faculty mentorship, professional development, and long-term academic success. We believe rigorous science and high-quality care are strengthened by a genuinely collaborative and sustainable place to work.

• Develop and maintain an active clinical practice within the department
• Enroll and manage patients on clinical trials and cooperative group studies
• Lead or contribute to clinical, translational, population-based, or health services research
• Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and students within our ACGME-accredited three-year Gynecologic Oncology fellowship program
• Contribute to the academic, clinical, and strategic growth of the department
