Role Title: L2 Hardware Engineer - EO
Role Description:
The Hardware Engineer supports the Engineering Lead by providing design assurance and engineering oversight for system-level hardware across mission and support systems. The role focuses on integration, verification and validation (V&V), and ensuring compliance with regulatory and Commonwealth requirements within a complex, agile Defence environment.
Key responsibilities include contributing to technical architecture and specifications, supporting test planning and system integration, managing technical risks, and engaging with stakeholders across government and contractor organisations. The position also involves supporting HF Radar programs, ensuring system performance requirements are met, and maintaining engineering standards, tools, and compliance practices.
