Your role

What you'll be doing

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Head of Creative Design, Brand & Web within our International Vehicle Payments division. This position falls under our International Vehicle Payments line of business and is located in London or Berlin.

Our International Vehicle Payments Design team shapes how customers experience our multi-brand corporate and vehicle payments portfolio, including Corpay, Allstar, Plugsurfing, Travelcard and other brands across the UK, Europe and ANZ. From the earliest touchpoints to the products they use every day, the team helps businesses understand and choose the payment and vehicle services they rely on, and feel in control, confident and supported along the way.

We're looking for a hands-on Head of Creative Design to lead a team of Brand and Web Designers, set the creative direction for brand identity, websites and eCommerce, and campaigns, and build an AI-enabled creative studio that delivers exceptional work. You'll make brand, web, campaigns and product feel like one connected experience. This is a hands-on role - alongside setting strategy and leading the team, you'll drive the work yourself and design alongside your team.

You will report directly to Design Director, lead a team of designers and regularly collaborate with Marketing, Digital, Product and senior business stakeholders.

How We Work

As a Head of Creative Design, Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

• An assigned workspace in our London or Berlin office
• Company-issued equipment
• Access to online learning and development resources
• The opportunity to shape an AI-enabled creative studio and new ways of working across a global, multi-brand organization

Role Responsibilities

• Brand design strategy and design direction: leading and evolving the visual identity strategy across brands, markets and customer touchpoints, and translating agreed positioning into scalable visual systems that support acquisition, retention and product experiences.

• Websites and eCommerce: setting the UX and creative direction for websites and acquisition journeys, and leading design from customer journeys and concepts through design QA, handover and post-launch optimization. Using customer insight, analytics and testing to inform decisions, and setting up agentic design and development workflows with Marketing Managers.
• Campaign creative: directing creative for integrated campaigns, product launches and brand activity, including at least two above-the-line campaigns a year, in-house or with agencies. Marketing owns messaging, media and spend.
• An AI-enabled creative studio: designing zero-to-one agents and pioneering new AI design workflows. We already move between code and Figma, defining new ways of working as we go, and you’ll drive these workflows to help designers build whatever they can imagine. You’ll also make teams more self-serve, with reusable assets, templates, approved collateral and designer review that let them produce high-quality, on-brand work efficiently and independently.
• People and priorities: managing, mentoring and coaching the team, supporting their growth and raising creative standards. Prioritizing capacity and shaping briefs so the team focuses on the highest-impact work.
• Stakeholder relationships and visibility: partnering with Marketing on campaign strategy, with Digital on implementation and optimization, and with Product on brand expression throughout customer journeys. Representing Brand and Web Design in senior discussions, articulating a clear creative vision, raise the quality bar and managing priorities.
• Connected brand experience: collaborating with Product and Service Designers on brand expression within products, and contributing brand expression to the shared multi-brand design system.

Qualifications & Skills

• Demonstrating 10+ years of professional design experience, including at least 2 years of leading and coaching design teams
• Showing a strong portfolio of work where design has shaped brand strategy, digital experience and go-to-market activity
• Bringing proven experience across brand identity, web design, eCommerce and integrated campaign creative
• Demonstrating exceptional design judgement and the ability to create coherent work across multiple brands, markets and channels
• Understanding how brand and digital experience influence customer growth, trust and adoption
• Bringing a hands-on approach to design delivery alongside team leadership and strategic direction

• Communicating a compelling creative vision, providing precise feedback and influencing senior stakeholders effectively
• Holding experience directing designers, agencies and integrated campaigns; above-the-line campaign experience is welcome but not essential
• Bringing experience with analytics, conversion insight, enterprise CMS platforms, motion or video direction as an advantage
• Having experience within B2B, payments, fleet or mobility sectors is welcome; and we're open to outstanding brand and digital work from any sector, especially consumer or FinTech. Considering strong Design Leads who are ready to step into a Head of Creative Design position
