Position Description
As Head of Delivery, Business Process and Core Corporate IT you will join the Corporate IT Delivery Team delivering strategic technology projects in Business Process Management and Core Corporate.
You should demonstrate superior leadership and client engagement skills, with strong service delivery capability to proactively identify business requirements and formulate into solid plans for delivery. You will actively participate in cross-functional engagements with business groups and Technology, build a network of relationships to collect and disseminate information, and promote partnership for desired objectives.
This is a leadership and team management role. You will be expected to understand the domain topics, and be able to formulate delivery plans. You will manage projects through the entire SDLC from project initiation to implementation into production environment.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Build partnerships and strengthen visibility into client’s business plans and upcoming changes
Collaborate closely with headquarters to understand enterprise level system design and plans, and execute key integration programs
Proactively identify and pre-empt client’s needs through observations, discussions, market practices, experiences and other inputs from professional consultancies, IT, other LOBs, management, etc.
Contribute ideas towards improvements in systems, processes and data management
Ensure the works are realistic and manageable, with clear benefits and being cost effective
Project Management – Manage end-to-end delivery of projects. Plan and track project SDLC and cross-teams engagement activities
Ensure that developments undertaken (either in-house or by vendor) follow CITIC CLSA standards and practices, and are taking us towards our end state architecture
Provide high quality and accurate project status communications to senior stakeholders in a concise and timely manner
Lead a small team for project deliveries
Requirements
Bachelor Degree or above in IT/Computer Science or related fields of studies
Min. 15 years of total experience in IT projects gained in Financial Institutions, of which at least 10 years in Business Process Management (BPM) and team management
Good overall business knowledge of Investment Bank businesses
Strong Software Delivery Management, creating and tracking project plans and working across many teams globally within IT and the Business in order to achieve success
Hands-on experience with BPM systems, website content management systems, maintaining technology stacks to be up-to-date
Attention to details
Strong sense of personal responsibility and disciplined
Clear and confident communication style – verbal and written. Multilingual capability is a must, including English and Mandarin
Strong desire to learn new technologies and adopt and propose best practices
