About Fullscript
We’re an industry-leading health technology company on a mission to help people get better. We started in 2011 with one simple idea. Make it easier for practitioners to access the products they trust so they can deliver better care.
That simple idea grew into a platform that powers every part of care. Today, more than 125,000 practitioners use Fullscript for clinical insights, lab interpretations, patient analytics, education, and access to high-quality supplements. Over 10 million patients rely on Fullscript to stay connected to their care plans and follow through on treatment.
We build tools that make care smarter and more human. Tools that save time, simplify decisions, and help practitioners stay closely connected to the people they care for. When everything they need is in one place, they can focus on what matters most: helping people get better.
This is your invitation.
Bring your ideas, your grit, and your care for people.
Join us and shape the future of care.
The Role
Fullscript has scaled into a platform that powers every part of care, and our Design organization has grown right alongside it. Our teams are doing strong work across the platform. Now we're looking for a Head of Design to take the next step: to shape that work into one cohesive, category-defining experience and build the Design function that carries Fullscript through its next phase of growth.
This is a rare amount of canvas. You'll define how design works at Fullscript, including the operating system, the standards, and the strategy that span every product line, and you'll own the end-to-end experience our practitioners and patients move through. Fullscript wins through an integrated platform experience, not a collection of individual products, and you'll be the person who makes that experience feel like one thing.
This is a leadership role, and the bulk of your impact comes from building scalability into the organization rather than owning day-to-day production. But we're a company of builders, and we want a leader who stays close to the work. The best person for this role sets the quality bar, critiques sharply, and is just as happy to drop into an artboard and solve a problem that cuts across projects when that's what moves things forward. You'll operate as a peer within our product leadership group and act as a strategic thought partner to the people running it, someone who can sit at the table with the CPO and CEO and tell us we're wrong.
What You'll Do
- Set the roadmap for scaling Design. Define how the Design function grows with Fullscript, including the systems, frameworks, and ways of working that let great design scale across a growing platform.
- Build the design operating system. Establish the processes, standards, design rituals, and AI-enabled workflows that raise quality and velocity at the same time, and that make excellence repeatable across every team.
- Raise the bar and grow the craft. Define what great design looks like at Fullscript, hold that bar as we move faster, and level up the craft of every designer on the team, owning both the quality of what ships and the growth of the people who ship it.
- Own the cross-product experience. Drive experience strategy across product lines, own design governance, and define how products work together so users experience one cohesive ecosystem rather than a set of separate tools.
- Lead the craft and the people. Own role expectations, career progression, talent development, collaboration models, and team culture across product lines.
- Sit at the table. Operate as a peer-level design leader, challenge assumptions, advocate hard for the customer experience, and influence executives.
What You Bring
- Experience designing and scaling Design organizations, with strong opinions on design operations, ways of working, AI-enabled design workflows, design systems and what a future-state design org looks like.
- Multi-product leadership across large platform ecosystems and complex user journeys, including owning the "edges" and intersections where products meet.
- Real influence and executive presence, with the ability to challenge senior leaders, advocate for the user, and operate as a strategic thought partner at the leadership level.
- An AI-forward mindset and a track record of operating at scale.
