Role summary

Lead the engineering and product delivery organization in Sweden, ensuring efficient and reliable execution of Edenred’s IT and product roadmap. Manage end‑to‑end delivery across product, engineering, QA, and business analysis teams, translating strategic priorities into scalable, high‑quality solutions. Operate in a cross‑BU setup (Sweden/Finland), working closely with the Finnish counterpart to support alignment, shared resources, and consistent delivery practices across the Nordic and Group organization. You will be responsible for an agile and professional IT team and reporting to the CTO for Edenred Sweden/Finland.

Do you want to do this?

Engineering delivery ownership and execution

• Own delivery of IT and product initiatives in Sweden with predictable quality and timelines
• Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations
• Ensure alignment between scope, delivery constraints, and cost estimates

Engineering and product organization leadership

• Lead Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Business Analysts
• Define clear roles, responsibilities, and organization structure
• Drive team performance through clear objective setting, regular feedback, and performance evaluations, while supporting individual development and career growth

Ways of working and delivery model

• Ensure consistent Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban)
• Manage backlog, planning, and delivery governance
• Drive continuous improvement of delivery efficiency

Technical delivery governance

• Ensure alignment with architecture, security, and Group standards
• Support technical decisions with Tech Leads
• Promote engineering best practices

Capacity and resource management

• Provide effort and cost estimates (projects and application maintenance)
• Optimize resource allocation across teams and partners
• Anticipate hiring and sourcing needs

Product delivery performance

• Track key delivery KPIs (quality, velocity, releases)
• Ensure continuous improvement
• Provide clear reporting on progress and risks

Vendor and partner management

• Oversee delivery from external partners
• Ensure quality, timelines, alignment and cost consumption optimization
• Support vendor performance monitoring

Cross-BU collaboration and synergies

• Collaborate with Finland counterparts and shared functions
• Support alignment of platforms, practices, and resources
• Contribute to cross-BU initiatives and efficiencies

Stakeholder management and communication

• Act as main delivery contact for Product, Business, and CTO
• Ensure visibility on priorities, progress, and risks
• Facilitate collaboration across teams

We believe that you have

• A minimum of 3-5 years experience of leading engineering or delivery teams in complex environments
• Strong experience delivering digital platforms (web, mobile, integrations)
• Good understanding of Agile and delivery frameworks
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle, architecture, and cloud environments
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendors
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
• Familiarity with modern tech environments (Azure, APIs, .NET, Angular)
• Experience with delivery tools (Jira, Confluence, CI/CD, DevOps)
• Full proficiency in English. Swedish is considered meritorious but not a requirement

The position is based in Liljeholmen, Stockholm and business travels may be required to Finland.
