Head Of Strategic Accounts
United States

Role Overview:
Lead the team that shapes how the world's most recognized brands deliver customer experiences people actually value. As Head of Strategic Accounts, you will own revenue performance across a portfolio of enterprise accounts, set the sales strategy that drives new logo wins and expansion, and influence how Genesys shows up for its most important customers.

You will partner with senior leaders on the client side and across Genesys to turn business problems into measurable outcomes. That means understanding what each customer is trying to achieve, then showing how Genesys Cloud and AI-powered experience orchestration help them get there, rather than leading with features. At Genesys, we're transforming the customer experience landscape with empathy, AI innovation, and global impact, and you will be central to that work.

You will build and coach a high-performing sales team, drive pipeline creation, and work closely with marketing, product, and customer support teams to bring customer insight back into the business. Your decisions on account strategy, pricing, and deal structure will directly influence revenue and long-term customer relationships.

This role offers visibility with executive leadership, the chance to shape go-to-market strategy for strategic accounts, and a clear path to broader sales leadership responsibility as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a sales team to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets and quotas for strategic accounts
• Develop and execute account and territory strategies that accelerate new logo acquisition and expansion within existing customers
• Drive pipeline creation and forecasting discipline to deliver predictable, sustainable revenue growth
• Build and sustain executive-level relationships with existing and prospective customers, resolving concerns promptly to protect satisfaction and retention
• Research customer businesses and the problems they are solving, then position Genesys as the solution through compelling, outcome-focused value propositions and product demonstrations
• Lead complex pricing negotiations and navigate objections to close high-value enterprise agreements
• Partner with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align go-to-market efforts and channel customer feedback into product priorities
• Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to sharpen strategy and keep the team ahead of the competition

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales
• 5+ years of direct management experience leading enterprise software sales teams
• Demonstrated success increasing new logos and expanding business within existing accounts
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer focus and the ability to build lasting relationships
• Proficiency with CRM software and modern sales tools
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapting to changing priorities while managing multiple initiatives at once

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience selling cloud-based customer experience, contact center, or AI-enabled platforms to enterprise customers
• Strong background in negotiating multi-year, high-value enterprise agreements
• Experience collaborating with marketing, product, and customer support teams to drive account growth
• Commitment to continuously developing sales skills and deepening product knowledge
