Location: Kelowna, BC · In-Person · Not a Live-In Position
About the Role
This House Manager role isn’t about clocking in and running errands on a checklist. This is about becoming the calm, capable force behind a busy, fast-moving family’s home, the person who turns a full calendar of school, activities, travel, and hosting into something that just works.
We’re hiring a full-time House Manager in Kelowna, BC to run the day-to-day of a high net-worth Kelowna family household while our current Household Manager is on maternity leave. The home includes two teenage boys, a family dog, and a lot of moving pieces. The family relies on a steady, hands-on partner who can hold the whole picture, make the call when it’s needed, and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Are you a household manager who doesn’t just tidy up, but architects order out of chaos? Do you anticipate what’s needed before anyone asks? Do you take real pride in getting the details right, and real satisfaction in a home that runs like a well-oiled machine? If you’re nodding, this is the role you were built for.
You’re the perfect fit if you are
- A Master of Systems: You don’t just manage to-do lists — you build checklists, manuals, and routines so nothing lives only in your head. You juggle vendors, deadlines, and priorities without dropping a ball.
- Proactive by Nature: You anticipate needs before being asked and follow through without reminders. You have a genuine “yes, and” attitude — no task is too big or too small.
- Calm Under Pressure: Plans change last-minute and you roll with it, bringing energy and warmth even when the day gets messy. You’re dependable, organized, and steady.
- Discreet, Always: Privacy is non-negotiable. You handle confidential family information with unwavering discretion and sound judgment.
- Great with Kids and Pets: You’re comfortable and confident around teenagers and dogs, and you bring patience, warmth, and structure to both.
- A Clear, Direct Communicator: You know when to make the call yourself and when to flag it — and you communicate warmly and without drama either way.
- Tech-Savvy & AI-Fluent: You’re fluent with the tools that bring efficiency to your work, and you actively use AI to draft correspondence, organize information, and automate the busywork.
