.NET Full Stack Application Support Engineer (Associate – 3 Years)
Role Summary
The .NET Full Stack Application Support Engineer (Associate) provides L3 application support for enterprise .NET applications. The role focuses on incident resolution, application troubleshooting, performance optimization, and operational stability across backend, frontend, and applicationhosting environments. This is application support, not infrastructure administration.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L3 support for .NET applications built using C#, ASP.NET/.NET Core, and related technologies
Troubleshoot application issues including crashes, performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, threading, and integration failures
Support applicationspecific services (e.g., IIS sites, app pools, Windows Services, background jobs)
Analyze logs, exceptions, and metrics using Event Viewer, application logs, and monitoring tools
Support REST/SOAP APIs and resolve authentication, authorization, and data issues
Perform SQL troubleshooting: query optimization, stored procedures, and indexing support
Support deployments and releases in collaboration with DevOps and infrastructure teams
Participate in ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change) using ServiceNow/JIRA
Maintain clear application support documentation and knowledge articles
Technical Skills
Backend: C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, ASP.NET, Entity Framework / Dapper
Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript; basic exposure to React/Angular
APIs & Data: REST, SOAP, SQL Server (PostgreSQL optional)
Application Hosting: IIS, applicationspecific Windows Services, containerized apps
OS Awareness: Applicationlevel support on Windows and Linux (logs, services, runtime issues only)
DevOps Exposure: Git, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins), deployment support
Monitoring: Application Insights, Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace (or similar)
Experience & Qualifications
~3 years of experience in .NET application development or support
Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps delivery models
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
