What We Mean by Industrial AI
Industrial AI is AI built for mission-critical industrial environments. It combines artificial intelligence methods — including machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and agentic AI — with engineering fundamentals, asset knowledge, industry expertise, operational data, domain-specific models, and industrial data fabric capabilities. AspenTech’s Industrial AI value framework centers on agility, efficiency, and autonomy, with AVA helping orchestrate AspenTech solutions and industrial data fabric capabilities aggregating and contextualizing data and models.
Agility: helps customers adapt faster to business conditions, operating constraints, and new opportunities to create value.
Efficiency: helps the workforce make decisions faster through explainable recommendations, domain-aware insights, and guided workflows.
Autonomy: helps free engineers for more critical activities by optimizing tasks and advancing toward more autonomous industrial workflows.
