Responsibilities
Analyze manufacturing processes and identify waste (Muda) and improvement opportunities using Lean principles.
Lead and support Kaizen / Continuous Improvement projects to improve productivity, cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Conduct time study / motion study, line balancing, capacity analysis, and cycle time optimization.
Develop and maintain Standard Work, work instructions, and process documentation.
Apply Lean tools and methods such as 5S, Visual Management, VSM (Value Stream Mapping), SMED, Poka-Yoke, and problem-solving tools (5 Why, Fishbone).
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to solve process issues and reduce scrap/rework.
Track, analyze, and report key KPIs (e.g., OEE, Productivity, Cycle Time, Downtime) and present progress to management.
Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement audits as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field.
Minimum 1 years’ experience in the Automotive industry.
Minimum 1 years’ hands-on experience in Lean / Kaizen / Continuous Improvement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven improvement project experience.
Good command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; able to summarize and present data clearly.
