Make an impact with NTT DATA
Join a company that is pushing the boundaries of what is possible. We are renowned for our technical excellence and leading innovations, and for making a difference to our clients and society. Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion – it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.
Role Summary
The Segment Leader, General Business owns NTT DATA Thailand's go-to-market strategy, client relationships, and revenue growth across mid-market and non-strategic accounts spanning multiple industries (outside FSI, Manufacturing/Automotive, and other named verticals). This is a segment leadership role combining P&L accountability, portfolio-wide sales strategy, and direct people leadership of a segment sales team. Compared to named-account/industry-vertical roles, this position emphasizes breadth — managing a higher-volume, more diverse account portfolio — while still requiring the strategic judgment to prioritize and grow the highest-potential relationships within it.
Key Responsibilities
Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for the General Business segment, covering mid-market and cross-industry accounts not aligned to a dedicated vertical
Carry segment-level revenue and P&L accountability, including pipeline forecasting, quota planning, and margin performance across a diverse account base
Build and lead a team of segment sales professionals — coaching, performance management, and capability development, with emphasis on account prioritization and portfolio management skills
Develop relationships with client decision-makers across a range of industries, positioning NTT DATA's systems integration, managed services, cloud, and digital transformation offerings
Identify and pursue new logo acquisition opportunities alongside growth within the existing account portfolio
Segment and prioritize accounts by growth potential, deal complexity, and strategic fit, directing team focus accordingly
Partner with presales, solution architecture, and delivery teams to ensure proposals are commercially and technically credible across varied client needs
Drive co-selling motions with technology partners (hyperscalers, ISVs) where relevant to the account portfolio
Report segment performance, pipeline health, and market intelligence to senior leadership
Required Qualifications
8+ years in enterprise or mid-market technology sales or business development, with demonstrated segment/team leadership — not solely individual account execution
Proven experience managing a diverse, multi-industry account portfolio in Thailand
Track record of P&L ownership and team leadership (player-coach experience strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of IT services, systems integration, managed services, or outsourcing sales motions (project-based/managed services background preferred over pure software license sales)
Experience balancing new business development with account growth across a broad portfolio
Fluent Thai and strong business English
Preferred Qualifications
Existing network across mid-market companies in Thailand spanning multiple sectors
Experience with account segmentation and portfolio prioritization frameworks
Experience co-selling with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) or major ISVs
Prior experience at a global SI or consulting firm (Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, DXC, or similar)
