Job Title: Senior MuleSoft Integration Administrator | Developer

Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Integration Administrator / Developer who combines deep hands-on MuleSoft development and administration expertise with strong integration architecture knowledge. The role will be responsible for designing, developing, operating, and governing business-critical integrations across Salesforce and other enterprise platforms, while also supporting the adoption of AI and LLM-based integrations through MuleSoft.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and support complex integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange.
- Own the administration and operational management of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including environments, runtimes, access, certificates, API policies, monitoring, troubleshooting, and platform governance.
- Develop and maintain business-critical integration architecture, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, performance, and resilience.
- Design integrations using API-led connectivity, including System, Process, and Experience APIs.
- Build and support complex Salesforce integrations, including Salesforce APIs, events, authentication, data synchronization, and integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications.
- Provide deep technical troubleshooting for production MuleSoft applications, APIs, connectors, runtime issues, performance problems, and integration failures.
- Define standards for API lifecycle management, versioning, security, reusable assets, error handling, logging, monitoring, and CI/CD.
- Design secure integration patterns using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, TLS/mTLS, certificates, secrets management, and API policies.
- Contribute to AI integration architecture, connecting enterprise applications and APIs with LLMs, AI services, agents, and retrieval-based solutions.
- Understand AI integration concepts such as LLM gateways, prompt/API orchestration, RAG, vector databases, embeddings, AI agents, model APIs, data privacy, and AI governance.
- Enable secure consumption of platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce Agentforce, or other enterprise AI services through controlled integration and API layers.
- Work closely with enterprise architects, Salesforce teams, application owners, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
- Review existing integrations and continuously improve reliability, security, maintainability, observability, and cost efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years in enterprise application integration, including strong hands-on MuleSoft experience, with demonstrated ownership of development, administration, production support, and architecture-level integration decisions.
- Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule 4 development.
- Deep experience in MuleSoft administration and production platform operations.
- Advanced knowledge of DataWeave, REST/SOAP APIs, RAML/OpenAPI, JSON, XML, messaging, and integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration and API architecture.
- Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with MuleSoft and other enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of authentication, API security, certificates, networking, and enterprise security controls.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices for MuleSoft, using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting business-critical, high-availability integration platforms.
- Practical understanding of AI/LLM integration architecture, including APIs, LLM gateways, RAG, AI agents, and secure enterprise AI adoption.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- MuleSoft Developer and/or MuleSoft Platform Architect certification.
- Salesforce integration experience and relevant Salesforce certifications.
- Experience with Azure, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, or Salesforce Agentforce.
- Experience designing enterprise API governance and integration standards.
- Exposure to hybrid/cloud enterprise architecture and integration security.
