Intern- Executive Office (Strategy & Ops) Q4/26 & Q1/27

Please note that this position is based in Berlin, Germany - relocation support is provided if required (within the UK/EU only)

THE BEST WORK OF YOUR CAREER

Trade Republic is the largest savings platform in Europe - we operate in 18 countries, serving +10 million customers who trusted us with over 150B in assets. But we’re striving for more.

We have a bold mission to empower everyone to build wealth with easy, safe, and free access to financial systems. You will have the opportunity to grow your career by collaborating with a team of outstanding talents and state of the art technology to build a lasting, positive future for millions.

Trade Republic is hiring an Intern for the Executive Office for Q4/26 and Q1/27, based in Berlin, Germany.

Depending on strategic priorities and personnel demand at the time of your process, you will be embedded in either the CEO Office or Strategic Operations. In both teams you work directly with senior leadership on the topics that matter most for how we scale.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

This is not an internship of slides and coffee runs. You will own real work with real deadlines, next to the people who run the company, and you will leave with results you can point to.

• Own a project end to end: Take responsibility for a high-impact project from first hypothesis to result in production, such as a new market or product initiative, a process redesign, or an operational launch.

• Analyse and recommend: Build the analyses, market research and business cases that management uses to make decisions, and present your recommendation yourself.

• Make it happen: Turn decisions into reality with teams across Operations, Product, Engineering, Compliance and more. Set up the plan, align stakeholders, remove blockers and drive things over the line.
• Improve how we work: Help simplify and automate processes with workflows, AI and tooling, so our teams can scale without adding manual work.

• Support leadership: Work closely with the management team on priorities for the quarter and on internal and external business development opportunities.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a high-energy builder who is exceptional at either thinking or doing, and eager to grow in the other.

You have a track record of getting results fast. You have worked in a high-pace environment where things change weekly and nobody hands you a playbook. That can be a start-up or scale-up (in strategy, operations, growth, product or a founder’s or chief-of-staff role), management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or a venture or initiative you built yourself.

You also have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree (completed or in progress) from a top-tier university with excellent grades

• Clear, structured communication, written and spoken

• Excellent German and English skills

• Availability for the full period (Q4/26 and/or Q1/27, at least three months)

• A plus: curiosity about automation, AI tools or data (for example n8n, SQL). No engineering background needed.

WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY NOW

You will work directly with senior leadership and see how decisions are made at one of Europe’s fastest-growing financial companies. You will own work that ships, and you will leave with results you can point to.

Our culture rewards ownership, excellence, and high energy. We care deeply about outcomes and hold each other accountable. We’re here to win and fix one of the largest challenges Europeans face: closing the pension gap and democratising wealth. If this gets you fired up, reach out!

We believe it’s our team’s varied identities and backgrounds that make us sharper and stronger. We’re committed to creating an environment where everyone feels respected and has equal opportunity to thrive in their careers.
