Job Description:

This is an opportunity to join the Investment Banking team in the Frankfurt office of an international mid-market investment bank.

The role is aimed at recent graduates with relevant M&A internship experience who are looking to start their career in a hands-on, transaction-focused environment.

You will gain exposure to sell-side and buy-side mandates as well as business development activities, working closely with clients, investors and senior team members. The role offers broad exposure across industries and business models, providing a strong foundation to develop both M&A execution skills and sector knowledge. You will also be involved in the preparation of business plans, information memoranda, presentations and financial analysis.

Requirements:

• Recently graduated, or due to graduate shortly, with a strong academic background
• Previous internship experience in M&A at an investment bank
• Prior exposure to live M&A transactions and a practical understanding of the key stages of a deal process
• Strong financial and analytical skills, with previous exposure to financial modelling and valuation
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, clear communication skills and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
• Proactive, motivated and willing to take ownership from an early stage
• Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
• Language: Native-level German and fluent English.
