Clario, part of Thermo Fischer Scientific, is looking for an Onsite IT Support Technician, who will be responsible for delivering high-quality, in-person IT support services to end users across Hungary and surrounding Central European locations. This role provides hands-on support for endpoint devices, office infrastructure, and user onboarding/offboarding, ensuring consistent and high-quality client experience aligned with Clario’s global IT standards.
This position serves as a key liaison between local users and global IT teams, driving operational excellence, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Be Doing
Provide onsite technical support for laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and collaboration technologies
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner
Support VIP and executive users with white-glove service as required
Ensure adherence to SLAs and OLAs for incident and request resolution
Conduct device provisioning, imaging, and deployment processes for operating systems (Windows, MacOS)
Execute onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment setup and asset recovery
Maintain accurate asset tracking and inventory records in enterprise systems
Support local office IT infrastructure, including conference rooms, printers, and network connectivity
Coordinate with global infrastructure teams for escalations and major incidents
Assist with site readiness activities, including office moves, expansions, and new site setup
Log and manage incidents and service requests in ServiceNow (or equivalent ITSM tool)
Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and procedures
Contribute to knowledge base articles and process improvements
Provide onsite or remote support to nearby regional sites as needed (e.g., EU offices)
Support cross-border coordination for IT services and vendor interactions
Participate in regional IT initiatives and project rollouts
Ensure adherence to company policies, including security, data protection, and GxP requirements where applicable
Support audit readiness through accurate documentation and controlled processes
Assist with endpoint security compliance (e.g., encryption, patching validation)
User Adoption: Identify user and business needs. Collect feedback from stakeholders and users to evaluate communication and adoption efforts. Maximize user adoption and proficiency in leveraging software features.
Facilitate smooth adoption of new tools, processes, or systems.
Educate stakeholders on benefits and best practices.
Work closely with project managers and IT teams.
Ensure successful project delivery by meeting business expectations.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience required
Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills
3+ years of experience in onsite IT support or end-user computing roles
Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
Experience with endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, Autopilot, Jamf)
Familiarity with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow)
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and documentation
Comfortable working in a global, matrixed organization
Fluent in English and Hungarian
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, basic troubleshooting) preferred
Experience in regulated environments (e.g., GxP, life sciences, healthcare) preferred
IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, ITIL Foundation) preferred
