You will work on building and maintaining reliable backend services, developing RESTful APIs, integrating distributed systems, and ensuring application quality, security, and performance. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help evolve the platform and deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions that support business needs.

What you will do:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable backend systems using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Design, implement, and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs to support business functionality and system integration.
• Implement data access and persistence solutions using Spring Data and JPA, working with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Develop and maintain asynchronous communication and event-driven integrations using messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Apply security and performance best practices to build robust and efficient applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes using tools and technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor application health, performance, and reliability using observability tools such as New Relic.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including clean code, design patterns, and effective problem-solving techniques.

Must-have:

• Strong proficiency in Java and its associated frameworks, particularly Spring and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design principles.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, including data modeling and persistence concepts.
• Knowledge of messaging and asynchronous communication systems, such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks, including JUnit and Mockito.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices and familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, algorithms fundamentals, and problem-solving techniques.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, clean code principles, and software development best practices.
• Understanding of different testing methodologies, including regression, smoke, stress, unit, integration, automated, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design effective and maintainable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
• Proactive mindset, ownership, and a continuous improvement approach.
• Upper-intermediate to advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate clearly in a professional environment.
