We are looking for a detail-oriented KYB and Onboarding Operations Specialist to support the onboarding of institutional, crypto, Web3, fintech and financial services clients. This is an internal, non-client-facing role focused on KYB reviews, onboarding case management and operational coordination.
Proficient, hands-on experience using Sumsub is a key requirement for this role. Crypto or digital asset experience is a strong advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Review KYB applications and corporate documentation, including ownership structures, directors, UBOs and authorised signatories.
- Use Sumsub to review applications, manage case statuses, identify gaps and maintain accurate case records.
- Manage and track onboarding cases and client account setup through internal systems and trackers.
- Coordinate onboarding activities across Compliance, Operations, Sales and Relationship Management.
- Identify missing information, inconsistencies, expired documents and red flags requiring escalation.
- Support source of funds/source of wealth reviews and crypto wallet checks where required.
- Maintain clear case summaries, handover notes, SOPs and onboarding documentation.
- Ensure onboarding files are accurate, organised and ready for review or approval.
Requirements
- Proficient, hands-on experience using Sumsub is essential.
- Strong experience in KYB, onboarding operations, compliance operations or similar back-office workflows.
- Good understanding of corporate structures, UBO identification, directors and authorised signatories.
- Experience reviewing corporate documentation across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify documentation gaps and inconsistencies.
- Understanding of risk-based onboarding, EDD, sanctions, PEP and adverse media escalation.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Good working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong written communication skills for internal notes, summaries and stakeholder updates.
- Crypto/digital asset experience, including familiarity with wallet addresses and on-chain checks, is highly desirable.
