Landscape Maintenance Account Manager

Job Description

Position Summary: MD Landscaping seeking a motivated, client‑centric professional to join our Landscape Maintenance Division as an Account Manager ("Client Representative"). This role serves as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of high‑end residential clients while also overseeing the operational execution of landscape maintenance services. The ideal candidate is skilled at building strong relationships, managing service teams, and upholding the exceptional standards and reputation we are known for. 

Key Responsibilities 

Client & Account Management 

• Build, strengthen, and maintain long‑term relationships with high‑end residential maintenance clients. 

• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and MD Landscaping, ensuring superior communication and proactive service. 

• Oversee the successful completion of all contracted maintenance services, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. 

• Prepare and present annual maintenance proposals and bids—including enhancements, seasonal color, holiday lighting, and other value‑added services. 

• Consult with clients, design/estimate solutions, and manage both full‑service maintenance programs and landscape installation projects. 

• Coordinate with internal divisions and subcontractors to provide comprehensive, streamlined service and a single point of contact for clients. 

• Develop creative, high‑quality seasonal color designs and displays that align with client preferences and property aesthetics. 

Crew & Operations Management 

• Provide direction and support to maintenance crews to ensure service quality, efficiency, and adherence to company standards. 

• Conduct regular site visits to evaluate service performance, identify issues, and recommend improvements. 

• Communicate service expectations, schedule updates, and property needs clearly to field teams. 

• Troubleshoot landscape issues and develop corrective action plans for problems including, but not limited to:  

• Turf disease or inadequate moisture 

• Plant health decline or pruning needs 

• Drainage issues 

• Pest or disease identification and treatment recommendations
