Lead Application Consultant - Adobe

What will your day look like?

As our new Adobe Lead Application Consultant, you will take on a pivotal leadership role within our growing development team. You will lead the technical vision and delivery that empowers global brands to launch sophisticated marketing campaigns at scale. Your focus will be on designing seamless, highly efficient operational frameworks for marketers and operations specialists while pioneering the activation of advanced capabilities across the Adobe ecosystem.

As a Lead Application Consultant, you will champion the bridge between enterprise business strategy and complex technical execution. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating overarching business objectives into scalable technical blueprints, while guiding and mentoring developers, consultants, and cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end delivery aligns with the client’s long-term vision.

More specifically, your tasks include:

• Directing technical workstreams across operations, development, and client teams to ensure flawless solution delivery, governance, and measurable client success across Adobe platforms.
• Driving strategic adoption and standardisation of internal enterprise marketing tools and Adobe applications across client ecosystems, establishing blueprints for efficient, tailored end-to-end customer experiences.
• Designing and overseeing the implementation of complex, customised business rules and scalable automations within Adobe marketing platforms to streamline enterprise operations.
• Translating high-level architectural designs into robust, production-ready solutions, setting the benchmark for feature configuration and custom implementations within Adobe environments.
• Establishing rigorous QA/UAT frameworks, testing standards, and best practices to safeguard the quality, scalability, and reliability of all Adobe implementations.
• Acting as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues across Adobe applications, driving root-cause analyses and implementing resilient, long-term technical solutions.
• Leading client-facing technical discovery workshops with marketing leadership to capture complex business needs and author comprehensive technical specifications.
• Directing the use of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and associated tools to architect audience strategies, orchestrate complex segmentation, and maintain data governance, quality, and integrity.
• Cultivating a culture of technical excellence by identifying platform enhancement opportunities, defining delivery standards, and mentoring junior and senior consultants.

• 7+ years of progressive experience in application consulting, marketing technology, CRM, campaign operations, or technical consulting, with demonstrated experience leading enterprise-level delivery.
• Proven track record leading campaign execution, complex program builds, and enterprise-scale marketing automation architectures.
• Recognized subject matter expertise in at least one major marketing technology platform, such as Adobe Campaign, Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) or comparable enterprise marketing cloud solutions.
• Comprehensive mastery of the end-to-end campaign lifecycle: requirements discovery, technical debriefing, architectural design, build, QA governance, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing optimization.
• Proven ability to independently design, architect, and govern scalable, future-proof campaign solutions from the ground up.
• Demonstrated leadership in designing and executing enterprise-level UAT strategies at the multi-brand or multi-program level.
• Proven experience authoring and governing high-standard technical documentation
• Deep strategic and operational understanding of marketing operations, customer journeys, lifecycle communications, real-time triggered campaigns, segmentation, and performance analytics.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to link technical design directly to client commercial strategy, ROI, and customer lifetime value.
• Extensive experience orchestrating cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, data engineers, technical project managers, marketing operations, and account leadership.
• Advanced expertise in data architecture for campaign execution, including complex data models, audience selection, validation, identity resolution, QA, and data-driven trigger logic.
• Relevant platform certifications or accreditations are strongly preferred (e.g., Adobe Certified Master/Expert in AJO or Adobe Campaign, or equivalent).
• A forward-looking passion for Marketing Technology, with an active focus on integrating emerging AI and GenAI capabilities into modern marketing workflows.
