Why this is important to us

The Lead Solution Consultant – Quality Assurance is a senior individual contributor within the Data Management Services (DMS) Value Stream, responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable solutions across complex implementations.

This includes ensuring robust end-to-end validation of data management solutions, specifically across data pipelines from our systems

A practical testing and quality engineering role that combines deep technical expertise with testing strategy, delivery lead responsibilities, and continuous improvement. Focuses on designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring robust validation of data management solutions and integrations, embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Experience with financial data domains. This role is particularly focused on data-centric quality assurance, ensuring the correctness, completeness, and reliability of financial data across the end-to-end data lifecycle.

What you will be responsible for,

1. Test Strategy and Execution

Lead the design and execution of comprehensive test plans, ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and reliability

Define and ensure full test coverage across functional, integration, and end-to-end scenarios (E2E, API, regression)

Identify relevant test conditions based on business requirements and solution design

2. Quality Engineering & Automation

Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across the full data lifecycle, including golden copy creation, enrichment, and downstream consumption 

Develop, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites 

Build and execute test cases for:

• Data pipelines and ingestion processes 
• Data validation and transformation logic 
• Integration with downstream systems (e.g., SimCorp Dimension) 
• Drive adoption of test automation tools and practices to improve efficiency and scalability 

3. Defect Analysis and Issue Resolution

Identify, analyze, and report defects with clear reproduction scenarios

Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement sustainable fixes

Lead resolution of complex testing challenges and escalations

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with:
• Software engineers
• Product management
• Solution consultants
• Operations and data teams
• Align testing activities with business requirements and client outcome
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint reviews and demonstrations

5. Quality Governance & Continuous Improvement

Monitor and analyze testing metrics and KPIs (e.g., defect trends, coverage, data quality indicators) to assess solution quality and release readiness

Identify and implement improvements to testing processes, tools, and frameworks and ensure testing aligns with standard platform practices and quality frameworks

6. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing

• Develop and maintain test documentation, including:
• Test plans
• Test cases
• Test results and reports
• Facilitate training and knowledge sharing to promote testing best practices

• High level of professionalism, ownership, and delivery focus
• Effective verbal and written communication skills (English required)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB)

Testing Expertise

• Demonstrated experience in both manual and automated testing
• Ability to design and execute comprehensive test strategies across multiple levels
• Solid exploratory testing and analytical skills

Domain Knowledge

• Experience in financial services or asset management

Understanding of:

• Enterprise Data Management (EDM)
• Data mastering and validation processes
• Exposure to SimCorp Gain / AIM or similar platforms

Other requirements

• APAC with flexibility in EMEA hours (depending on business needs)
• Hybrid working arrangement (2x a week in office)
