What you’ll do

As a Lead Electrical Engineer – Industrial based in Brisbane, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering critical APLNG gas projects through a long-term integrated partnership with Origin, providing engineering and project services that support the ongoing operation of Queensland's gas field infrastructure.

You will be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.

• Lead and coordinate electrical engineering design and delivery across complex projects.

• Guide, mentor and develop a team of electrical engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.

• Act as the trusted advisor and key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.

• Drive high-quality outcomes across safety, technical performance, schedule and budget.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.

• Support business growth by identifying opportunities and strengthening long-term client partnerships.

• Champion innovation, continuous improvement and best-practice engineering standards.

What You'll Bring

• Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering and 15+ years' experience in oil & gas or energy projects.

• Strong expertise across LV and HV electrical systems.

• Demonstrated experience leading and developing engineering teams.

• Proven ability to deliver technically complex projects while managing client expectations and project objectives.

• Experience working within operational LNG, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

• A collaborative mindset, strategic thinking, and a passion for developing people and delivering exceptional outcomes.
