What you’ll do
As a Lead Electrical Engineer – Industrial based in Brisbane, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering critical APLNG gas projects through a long-term integrated partnership with Origin, providing engineering and project services that support the ongoing operation of Queensland's gas field infrastructure.
You will be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
This is an opportunity to lead a talented team of electrical engineers, influence technical direction, and work alongside industry experts delivering critical infrastructure that powers industries, communities, and Australia's energy future.
Lead and coordinate electrical engineering design and delivery across complex projects.
Guide, mentor and develop a team of electrical engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
Act as the trusted advisor and key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
Drive high-quality outcomes across safety, technical performance, schedule and budget.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
Support business growth by identifying opportunities and strengthening long-term client partnerships.
Champion innovation, continuous improvement and best-practice engineering standards.
What You'll Bring
Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering and 15+ years' experience in oil & gas or energy projects.
Strong expertise across LV and HV electrical systems.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing engineering teams.
Proven ability to deliver technically complex projects while managing client expectations and project objectives.
Experience working within operational LNG, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
A collaborative mindset, strategic thinking, and a passion for developing people and delivering exceptional outcomes.
