What You'll Do
Lead routine and type testing for transformers and reactors in line with customer, regulatory, and international standards — including IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), IEEE, IS, ANSI (American National Standards Institute), and customer specifications up to 800 kV.
Drive automation and digitalization of testing processes to improve turnaround times, reduce downtime, and strengthen product reliability.
Conduct structured root cause analysis (RCA) for test failures and deviations — resolving complex anomalies across HVDC, impulse, and partial discharge (PD) testing.
Prepare accurate, audit-ready technical reports and present complex test data in clear, business-friendly language to internal and external stakeholders.
Lead customer inspections and NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) / ISO audits with confidence, and support business development activities during technical reviews.
Mentor and develop team capability, promote a strong safety culture, and guide high-voltage testing operations with decisive, data-informed leadership.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a technically deep, operationally sharp professional who combines high-voltage expertise with a continuous improvement mindset and the communication skills to bring others along.
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field — a formal qualification is advantageous, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
12+ years of experience in manufacturing quality assurance, testing data analysis, and digitalization within a high-voltage or power equipment testing environment.
Demonstrated expertise in dielectric, impulse, and short-circuit testing systems, and the ability to independently troubleshoot hardware and data acquisition (DAQ) software issues.
Solid working knowledge of IEC, IEEE, IS, and ANSI standards as they apply to transformer and reactor testing.
Preferred
Experience with HVDC technology and testing at voltages up to 800 kV.
Familiarity with Lean and Kaizen methodologies applied to lab operations or manufacturing quality systems.
Experience managing NABL/ISO accreditation processes or supporting regulatory audits.
