We are seeking a Software Systems Developer (C++) to join our global Shopping & Pricing team, where innovation knows no borders. This team builds and operates the reliable technology that powers Sabre's travel ecosystem, delivering scalable systems and automating operational workflows for customers and internal teams. As a Lead Software Systems Developer (C++), you will build and maintain scalable applications supporting our  bussiness core. You will partner shoulder-to-shoulder with other developers, site reliability engineers and product teams to automate operational work, investigate production issues and turn ambitious ideas into trusted services. This role requires analytical and collaborative mindset and the commitment to elevate engineering quality through continuous improvement.

What you'll do

- Build, enhance and maintain scalable applications and services using modern technology stack and good engineering practices.
- Create tools and workflows that reduce manual effort and help engineering teams ship with greater confidence.
- Investigate production issues, identify root causes and drive lasting fixes across code, infrastructure and processes.
- Take care about observability, automation, performance tuning and effective incident response.
- Partner with teams across Sabre to shape technical direction, improve operational readiness and raise the bar for engineering quality.

What you'll bring

- Professional experience developing production-grade software in C++17-23.
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP is a plus), containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, databases, Linux, networking and software performance.
- Willing to learn core and supporting applications/tools business logic and related technologies.
- Experience with AI concepts, AI cost awareness, AI tools or services, with the ability to assess practical opportunities for applying AI to software development, automation and service operations.
- Collaborative engineering mindset, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to take ownership from design through production support.
