Remote only
Backpack Healthcare is expanding into Arizona — and we're looking for clinicians who want to be part of the journey from the beginning.
Arizona is one of our newest markets, which means this is more than another therapist opening. You'll have the opportunity to help establish Backpack's presence, reach new families, and shape how we deliver care in the communities we're entering.
Backpack Healthcare provides accessible behavioral healthcare to children, teens, young adults, and their families — all online and covered by most insurance.
We're clinician-led, minority-owned, and serious about both clinical outcomes and clinician support.
If you're looking for flexible part-time work, meaningful clinical impact, and the chance to get in early and grow with an expanding program, we'd love to meet you.
Joining Backpack's Arizona team means getting in at the ground level.
You'll have the opportunity to:
You won't just be joining the Arizona team — you'll help build it.
We believe flexibility and meaningful work should come with competitive compensation.
Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn an additional monthly performance-based bonus on top of their regular billable compensation.
Bonus eligibility is based on applicable productivity and performance expectations, giving you another opportunity to increase your monthly earnings while being recognized for consistently providing high-quality care.
You'll carry a target caseload of 15–22 sessions per week, providing individual and family therapy through telehealth.
Most clinicians work weekday afternoons and evenings, typically 2–9 PM, with weekend availability a plus.
Backpack provides the referrals and administrative infrastructure so you can spend more of your time focused on your clients — not searching for them or managing unnecessary administrative work.
You'll provide compassionate, evidence-informed behavioral healthcare to children, teens, young adults, and their families.
Your work will include:
You may be a great fit if you have:
Since 2020, we've served 12,000+ children and families through accessible behavioral healthcare.
78% of families report that their child is doing better after three months of care.
Now we're bringing that mission to Arizona.
Because we're new to the market, you'll have an opportunity that doesn't come along often: join an established behavioral healthcare organization while helping build a brand-new clinical community.
As the Arizona program grows, so will opportunities to take on mentorship, supervision, and clinical leadership roles.
We're not just filling a position.
We're building something in Arizona — and we'd love for you to help shape it.
🎒 When clinicians thrive, kids thrive. That's not a tagline. It's how we build.
If you're an Arizona-licensed therapist looking for flexibility, $55/billable hour, monthly bonus potential, meaningful work, and the opportunity to grow with a new market, we'd love to hear from you.
Backpack Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity in age, background, identity, experience, ability, and perspective — and we're committed to creating a team that reflects the communities we serve.
