📍 Maryland License Required | 🕒 Part-Time | 💰 Monthly Bonus Potential
The hours families need care most are often the hours traditional providers aren't available. That's where you come in.
Backpack Healthcare provides accessible behavioral healthcare to children, teens, young adults, and their families — 100% online and covered by most insurance.
We're a clinician-led, minority-owned organization that believes great outcomes start with supporting great clinicians.
We're looking for Maryland-licensed therapists who are energized by evening and weekend work and want to make a meaningful impact during these high-demand peak care hours.
If you're looking for competitive pay, additional monthly bonus potential, professional growth, and a team that actually supports you, we'd love to meet you.
This role is designed specifically around our highest-demand hours:
Part-time schedule with peak-hour availability required.
These are the hours when kids are home from school, parents are available, and families are often most ready to engage in care.
Your availability can help a family get the support they need when they actually need it.
We believe clinicians should be rewarded for both their clinical expertise and their commitment to providing consistent, high-quality care.
Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn an additional monthly performance-based bonus on top of their regular billable compensation.
Bonus eligibility is based on applicable productivity and performance expectations, giving clinicians another opportunity to increase their monthly earnings while being recognized for consistently delivering high-quality care.
You'll provide compassionate, evidence-informed care to children, teens, young adults, and their families through secure telehealth.
Your day-to-day will include:
No commute. No office. Just meaningful clinical work from wherever you do your best work.
Build your clinical skills today and explore mentorship, supervision, and leadership opportunities tomorrow.
You won't be left to figure everything out alone. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team that believes in shared care.
Access supervision, CEU reimbursement, professional development, and our Residency & Fellowship Program.
You're helping families access care during the very hours when finding an available provider can be hardest.
Since 2020, we've served 12,000+ children and families through accessible behavioral healthcare.
78% of families report that their child is doing better after three months of care.
We're building something real in Maryland — and we're looking for clinicians who want to grow with us.
Whether your future is in clinical expertise, supervision, mentorship, or leadership, Backpack creates opportunities to build the career you want while doing work that matters.
That's not just a tagline. It's how we build.
If you're a Maryland-licensed therapist who wants to use your evening and weekend availability to make a real difference, while earning competitive compensation and having monthly bonus potential, we want to hear from you.
