The Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division of Mississippi currently has an opening for a Machining Apprentice located in Corinth, Mississippi. In this hands-on apprenticeship, you will be working in a variety of roles in reclaim machining. The apprentice will operate a variety of hand tools, machining centers and testing equipment to remanufacture engines, cylinder heads and components.

Currently enrolled in or participating in the NEMCC TIGER Apprenticeship Program. Individuals must be currently enrolled in or studying within an Associate Degree program in Diesel Power Technology, Precision Machining, or another related discipline.

This position is an apprenticeship with the possibility of becoming full-time depending on completion of the apprenticeship program, job performance and applicable/available job openings. This position will have a minimum 15 hour and maximum 32 hour scheduled work week. Benefits not offered with this position.
There are 2 positions available: 1 working 1st shift (6am-2pm) and 1 working 2nd shift (2pm-10pm)
Compensation:
Starting hourly pay rate of $19.75
Positions on 2nd shift receive an additional 7% night shift premium
