At YWCA Seattle | King | Snohomish, maintenance is about more than maintaining buildings. The work you do helps create safe, stable places where people can rebuild their lives.
YWCA has been serving women and families in our region for more than 130 years. Today, we provide housing and services across more than 20 locations in King and Snohomish Counties, supporting thousands of people each year.
As a member of our Facilities team, you will see the impact of your work every day. Fixing a leaking sink, preparing an apartment for a new resident, repairing a door, or responding to a building emergency may feel like maintenance work, but for the people we serve, it can mean having a safe home, greater stability, and one less thing to worry about.
You can build a long-term career with an organization that has been part of this community for generations while using your trade skills for a meaningful purpose. YWCA owns and manages a substantial portfolio of housing and facilities, so our Maintenance Technicians work across different types of buildings and develop experience with a wide range of maintenance needs. The current Maintenance Technician role supports more than 20 buildings across King and Snohomish Counties.
We also believe employees should have time and resources to care for themselves and their families. Full-time YWCA employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical insurance, generous vacation, holidays and sick leave, as well as retirement benefits.
If you are looking for a place where you can grow your maintenance skills, build a career, and know that the work you completed today made someone's home safer or their life a little easier, YWCA may be the place for you.
