The EHS Manager partners closely with business and operational stakeholders, including regional leadership, to reduce risk, strengthen regulatory compliance, and foster sustainable safety performance.

- Ensure investigations identify underlying causes and organizational contributors and result in effective corrective and preventive actions. *Monitor safety and compliance performance, identify trends, and develop targeted risk-reduction strategies.
- Support compliance with applicable OSHA, Cal/OSHA, DOT, EPA, state and local environmental requirements, and Airgas policies and procedures.

- Success requires visible leadership at the point of work, sound judgment, technical credibility, responsiveness, and a bias toward execution. The EHS Manager should focus not only on whether requirements are completed, but whether they are effective, understood, and sustained.
What Success Looks Like:
- Success in this role is demonstrated through reduced operational risk, strong regulatory compliance, timely and effective corrective actions, improved associate and leadership engagement, development of a high-performing EHS team, and safety processes that become embedded into normal business operations.
